It's been two weeks and i've pretty much isolated myself from everyone. Well mainly Francesca, i'm just kinda pissed off how she wants to act like nothing happened between us.

I've also been avoiding Erica, she's just too self absorbed. I also don't feel attracted to her.

I don't think dating is for me.

"Fuck this shit." I roll out of the bed and go downstairs.

Oh and my mom hasn't called me since she left, plus my dad will barely even speak to me.

It feels like everyone in my family knows something but me and just won't tell me.

I grab a orange off the counter and walk into my living room to see someone with long black hair on my couch.

Not this shit again. I stop in my tracks.

"Hey cousin." Malory, my older cousin waves at me from the couch.

People have got to stop just sneaking into my house.

"You couldn't just fucking call? Or even knock." I scoffed.

"Oh Nicolai, I missed you too." She rolls her eyes.

"Come here." I open my arms for her to give me a hug. She gets off from the couch and gives me a painfully tight hug back.

"Now why are you here?"

"Francesca? Her introduction to the public thing is literally tomorrow? She invited me." She shrugged her shoulders.

I completely forgot about that.

"Are you sure it's this weekend?" I start pacing back and forth. "She's been calling for the past week."

"Don't tell me you still haven't talked to her since you came back." She flops down on the couch. "I put all this time and effort trying to make you hot and she still don't want you huh" She shakes her head.

"Oh we talked, and then some." I look down at the ground.

I would rather talk to anyone about this in the world rather than Malory.

"No way. Did you guys?" Her mouth dropped.

"We kissed. A lot. That's it and it's never going to happen again." I grab
my keys from off of the table.

"Now let's go."

"Where?"

"To go see Francesca before she comes to kill me."

"Come on Astrid get up."  I pat her little back.

"I don't wanna leave you." She whines and rubs her dark brown eyes.

Why would she? I'm amazing. I also let her stay up all night and give her candy so.

"I know baby but Abuelo is coming to get you. I'll see you later today. Okay?"

"Okay." She sits up from my bed.

She's so cute.

Having Astrid on the weekends isn't as bad as I thought. She's pretty easygoing, well for a toddler. I think she gets it from Mateo.

I'm actually good with her you know? I've never been "good" at anything usually people are good at sports or instruments or had good grades. Not me.

It's okay because i'm hot and i'm being a better person.
