Welcome to my Nightmare

Dedication

"We should get to bed, it's late"  I said, as we finished up the campaign, I set down the controller at looked at my new girlfriend with more respect "You're actually not that bad"

She smiled at me, God I love that smile, and got off the couch to place the Halo CD back in it's cover.

I was about to set up the couch to sleep on it, then Alison placed a hand on my shoulder to stop me.

"Why don't you...sleep with me tonight?" she said, smiling and looking at the ground as she blushed.

I grin, and take her hand as she led me to her room.

"Hey, no screwing around okay? I wanna sleep!" Joven's sleepy voice shouted from his room, we both laughed quietly as we entered her room.

"Turn around, please" she asked, and I sat on the bed facing the wall.

The urge to turn around and glance at her was overwhelming, Alison has an amazing body and a man has needs, although I couldn'e help but think of myself as a pervert when I turn my head around and look at her.

I notice the red angry scars that line the spaces of her ribcage, and looked away, even more drawn to her then I was already. That girl's like an onion, she got so many hidden layers in her story.

"Okay, you can look now, and don't think I saw you looking, Mr. Pepping Tom"

I cringe inwardly, and felt the bed bounce as she climbed over the bed to sit next to me, unfazed my my looking she gave me a t-shirt and I looked at her, confused.

"It's one of Josh's old t-shirts, wear it as pyjamas"

Her pyjamas are an over sized black pickachu t-shirt, and three quarter unmatched pants, she smiled as I stood up to change.

"What, I'm not allowed to look but you are?" I asked, and she rolled her as she bounced to her side of the bed.

"Fine" she said, drawling it out and making me laugh. I pull off my Mortal Kombat t-shirt and pull on Joven's t-shirt, marveling at how huge it was on me.

"Damn, you've got some growing to do"

I look over to Alison, and she was smiling at me cheekily, and she lay on the bed with her head propped up on her elbow.

I felt heat rise up on my cheeks, and I pose, showing off my 'muscles' and putting on an intense face.

"You like?" I ask, making her burst out in a fit of giggles.

"Oh yes, very sexy" she said as she calm down, I smile to myself as she turned around so I could take off my pants, I am not wearing jeans to bed.

I climbed into my side of the double bed, and Alison slipped under the sheets, pulling them up until they were at her chin, she rolled over to face me and smiled.

"Goodnight, Mr Sohinki" she said, her rolling over caused her side fringe to fall across her eyes. I turn to face her, brushing her hair out of her eyes and pecking her on the lips as I said "Goodnight Miss Chaise"

I rested my head on the pillow, my eyes closing in an instant.

I can't breath.

I snap my eyes open in a panic and begin to flail, but my limbs are weighed down my heavy blankets.

I try to scream and shout out, but the only thing that came out was a small wheeze.

I look to the right and didn't see the familiar shape of Alison next to me, I manage to ease out my right arm and try and claw at my heavy blankets but they refused to move.

I look up to the ceiling, my hand going to my throat to relive some pressure, and find another set of hands there.

I try to focus my rapidly blurring vision on the dark mass in front of me, and find a person there.

Someone was choking me!

My vision began to go distorted, and my eyes started to close, my hand slid from my throat and flopped to my side.

Suddenly the weight was lifted off my chest and the hands released my throat, I sucked in life giving air as my hands massaged my bruised throat. 

My vision returned, and I saw the familiar dark shape for Alison rushing to my side and hugging me tightly. I tried to sit up but she gently pushed me down, her cold hand touched my face, and I relaxed now knowing she's alright.

"Matt" I heard Alison say, I faintly hear Joven cursing at someone and closing the door, locking it this time.

"Daniel tried to choke you" she said, removing her hands from my face, her voice thick with tears "I'm sorry"

Ignoring her protests, I sit up in the bed and placed my hand on her shoulder.

"It's not your fault, don't blame yourself for what he did" I say, my voice a bit raspy.

"What the hell happened?" I asked, as Joven appeared in the room with a glass of water, he placed it on the bedside table and I nodded a thank you to him.

Joven turned on the desk lamp, and I covered my eyes and waited for them to adjust.

"You kicked me and I woke up, I saw you getting choked and I knew I wouldn't be strong enough to take him down so..." she said, straightening her pyjama top and smiling at me sheepishly.

"So she woke me up" Joven continued, I reached for the water and took a sip, loving the cool water soothing my sore throat.

"I ran in and ripped Daniel off you, I pulled him down the stairs and pushed him out the door"

Alison moved closer to me and examined my neck with her cold hands.

"Are you sure you're okay?" she asked, concern showing in her brown eyes.

"I'm fine" I said, grabbing her hand gently and smiling "and thank you Joven, you're one step closer to becoming Batman"

Joven smiled, his ego level now raising over 9000.

"We should all get to sleep, you especially Josh" Alison said, looking like she wanted to say something to me.

Joven nodded, still beaming from my comment, and walked out of the room, closing the door on his way out.

"What's wrong?" I ask, and she looks up at me with determination in her eyes.

"I need to do something about Daniel, this has gone to far. If he hurts the people I love, then I'll face him head on if I have to"

A warm feeling spread across my chest, and Alison climbed over me and went back under the covers.

I sit back down, and open her arms for her to climb into, she smiles at me and enters my embrace.

I switch off the lamp, encasing us in darkness. I felt Alison's breathing slow, and I kiss the top of her head.

I will keep my promise, I will keep you safe.

I love you, Alison.

Oh my god, aaaaaaaaah. My heart just kept on doing flips as I was writing this!

There we go friends, no more chapter updates until the next weekend, school's kind of important! :) But never fear, I promise the next few chapters shall be exciting!
