that I yearn to converse for hours
and relate my nights to you.
Share my dreams and nightmares
narrate my day to you
manifest my aspirations
listen to your tales ever so cheerful and captivating.
But on a day like this I'm alone pondering on what you're doing
itching to reach out but unable to
on a day like this I'm staring into blank space reminiscing of our escapades.
