Dove had never thought about death.
She ignored it but as she stood next to Bella with a large multitude of vampires not far away enough to feel safe she couldn't ignore it.
She was scared because unlike the others she was human and she knew she was here to be a distraction.
Bella hated Dove because Dove was everything Bella wanted to be.
She was quiet, beautiful, strong and loved isolation.
She was her sister's opposite but that didn't explain why she was here and what Bella truly wanted her for.
Dove was trembling as Alice walked into the clearing.
She couldn't hear anything on the other side.
"Dont be scared.
You'll be going with Renesmee and Jacob" said Edward.
Dove knew that was a lie.
Alice walked to the Volturi with confidence as she realised what she had to do to avoid so much death.
There was only one way.
"My dear, dear Alice.
We're so glad to see you here after all" said Aro.
"I have a proposal.
Please hear me out" said Alice.
"We're not interested in some pathetic proposal," said Caius.
"The child isn't a threat.
You know that so please let me give you something that can avoid all of this" said Alice.
"Brother" said Caius.
Aro nodded causing Demetri to let her go.
"What is your proposal?" said Aro.
"Over there's a woman.
Her name is Dove and she is both of your mates.
Let us go and you can have her otherwise Bella will kill her and you won't see her again" said Alice.
Aro looked at the vampires the Cullen's collected before laying his eyes on a woman standing next to Bella.
He heard her heart and fell in love with the rhythm.
"Bring her to us," said Aro.
Alice smiled before walking to her family.
Dove stood there confused as Alice came back.
"They agreed?" said Edward.
"I don't know.
Dove you're going to need to trust me" said Alice.
Dove looked at her before Alice grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards the Volturi.
"Wait what?" said Bella.
"A trade.
Dove is Aro and Caius's mate and if they meet her they may change their minds and let us go" said Edward.

Alice pulled Dove to the vampires as Dove suddenly felt calm as her heart slowed down and the fear went away.
"I'm sorry Dove but this is the only way," said Alice.
"Aro, here.
You have seen her now decide" said Alice.
Dove looked at a man with raven black hair, pale skin, old clothing that was either red or black and enchanting ruby red eyes.
"Bellissimo"(Beautiful) Aro said before caressing her face causing him to see everything.
He looked into her eyes as she melted under his ice-cold touch.
She didn't know what to think as he ripped her away from Alice and wrapped his arms around her.
"Brother, look at her.
Hear her heart" said Aro as he looked at Caius.
Caius looked at her and felt himself soften as he warmed up from the inside.
"All charges are dropped.
But each year we will come here to see the child's progress" said Aro as he looked at Dove as she looked at him with curious eyes.
She didn't know how all of this could be resolved by meeting two men that she should be afraid of.
