It was minutes until the coronation.
Dove stood outside the throne room.
"Hello my darling," said Aro as he and Caius walked up to Dove.
"Thank god you are here.
I suspected Dominick had ran and that's why you both were late" said Dove before she kissed the both of them lovingly.
"He's ready," said Caius.
"Thank you both.
I was so scared that he would mess up" said Dove.
"He won't, you can relax love," said Caius as he caressed her face.
"Then let's start this before anything goes wrong," she said.
"Nothing will go wrong la farfalla"(Butterfly) said Aro.
She smiled at him before they walked into the throne room as crowds of people watched them as Marcus as Elizabeth followed them.
They all sat around Dominick's new throne.
Elizabeth sat on Dove's lap as Dove held Caius's hand.
Minutes passed as Dominick walked into the throne room as an elder vampire walked to the front.
Dove tightened her grip on Caius's hand as Dominick walked to the throne.
"Let's begin," said the elder.
"Dominick Volturi son on Caius, Aro and Dove Volturi.
Do you promise to carry the vampire world as well as the title of the Volturi for the rest of your eternal life?" said the elder.
"I do," said Dominick.
"And do you promise to commit your entire being to this world while keeping our secret?" said the elder.
"I do," said Dominick.
"And finally do you promise to be a merciful leader and stand with your people until you are king and after that?" said the elder.
"I do," said Dominick.
"Then in the power invested in me I pronounce you prince of the Volturi coven.
Take your place alongside your family" said the elder.
Dominick sat in the throne as Dove smiled as venom collected in her eyes.
Everyone cheered as Dove looked at Aro and Caius as Elizabeth cheered.
She smiled at them both.
She had done her job.
Dove had raised a prince and now he was almost mature and soon enough wouldn't need her anymore.
Suddenly her mind was filled with memories.
Her meeting Caius and Aro to moving to the tower and then to having Dominick.
Each memory that was born from her new life.
She had done so much to get to where she was and as she watched everyone cheer for Dominick she realised that she could never regret any of it.
She went from a Swan to a Volturi and she would never go back.
