The next day Dove laid in bed inside her and her mate's shared chambers as she held Dominick.
He was steady bigger than yesterday as she looked into his eyes.
Suddenly Aro and Caius walked into the room as she placed her finger by Dominick's lips.
He bit her finger and started drinking her blood as she smiled.
"How is he?" said Aro.
"He's perfect," she said.
"May I?" said Caius as he held a baby bottle full of fresh blood.
She took her finger away "Yeah" said Dove before giving Dominick to Caius.
"You have done so well my darling," said Aro as he sat next to her.
He caressed her face before kissing her.
She ran her hand through his soft hair as she melted into his arms.
She never thought her life would turn out like this.
She was a normal girl from a small town with a family that didn't fully understand her and now she was a Volturi queen and a mother to a hybrid child.
It wasn't normal but she was way past normal at this point.
She broke from Aro and smiled.
"I never expected my life to turn out like this," she said.
"Would you change it?" he asked.
She looked into his ruby red eyes "No" she said with a smile.
"I love you my darling.
You are my and Caius's entire world" said Aro before kissing her head.
"And you both are mine," she said.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door.
"What?" said Caius.
Jane and Alec came into the room.
"Masters, mistress.
We wanted to give you something for the child as well as an offer to look after the hybrid whenever you wish it" said Jane.
Alec carried a chest into the room.
"Inside this chest is a collection of children's clothes and toys I've collected through the years.
I hope you can make use of them" said Jane.
"Thank you, you can meet him.
I don't mind" said Dove.
Alec and Jane smiled before walking to Dominick.
"Harm my son and you'll both experience punishments that will make satan weep," said Caius.
"Yes master," said Jane.
Dove smiled as Caius gave Alec Dominick so Jane didn't use her gift on him by accident.
"He's amazing, how long will we have with him in this state," said Jane.
"We do not know.
He will reach full maturity in seven years" said Aro as he held Dove's hand.
"Have a second one.
I like babies" said Jane.
"Dominick almost killed me," said Dove.
"I can research further if you wish to have a second child my darling," said Aro before kissing her knuckles.
She smiled "Give me a year," she said.
"Of course my darling.
It's always going to be your choice my angel" said Aro.
