Standing in the middle of my village I looked down at my clipboard as I began ticking off tasks for tonight's bond fire event we were having. My dad had decided he wanted to invite the neighbouring pack for an evening since they had hosted the first one a month ago.

He had left me in charge of preparations and it had been busy. I had barely been able to see my mates at all these past few days since we had all been so busy. Both packs were preparing for winter and it was a stressful time indeed. I had been trying to gather wood for fires for the next few months, arrange our fields and get the crops in order along with the stock.

It had felt lonely not being able to see my mates but I knew they were busy just as I was, I was only excited to see them tonight. At least I could have a few hours with them even that would make me happy. We had spoken a lot over our argument and the secret they'd been hiding from me.

It took a few days for me to forgive them for the lie, but I ended up giving in. They had explained everything to me and in all honesty I didn't blame them for keeping it from me. They were worried I'd reject them, or see them as something different. But I didn't.

In my eyes they were still my mates, still the same men I found myself falling for more and more with each passing day. I found that finding my mates had been one of the greatest things to ever happen to me, it felt comforting. They brought out a side in me I never knew I had, and I adored it. I adored them whole-heartedly.

"Mira, the first wood pile has arrived." Matteo, my beta informed as he came to my side. I nodded, walking towards the entrance of our village where the logs of wood had been placed. Using my magic I lifted the piles of wood, placing them in to the large shack we had for the supply.

"I think we need to gather at least another three piles to last for the winter." I sighed to Matteo knowing he was taking mental notes to give out the orders and make sure it was done.

"The farmers suggest that they can have a bulk supply of wheat sent to us tomorrow." Matteo informed, taking note of the butchers who walked past with fresh meat towards the meat factory. Sighing I nodded my head, sending him off to his duties as I carried on with mine.

Keeping up with the daily tasks plus added on tasks was a lot to handle, but I had become used to it after years of taking up the role. It didn't stop the fact that I became seriously intense, but it was apart of the job.

I glanced towards the mates village, the thought pondering over my mind for a few seconds. A short visit wouldn't hurt anyone would it? Surely not. Ah fuck it.

Placing my clipboard down I strolled, well more ran towards my mates village a certain excitement building up in my stomach. I knew I was going to see them tonight but I couldn't wait, I just wanted to see them and hug them and talk for even a minute.

My smile only grew when I smelt the familiar scent of wet ground, Joon coming in to my vision first. I wrapped my arms around his back, feeling him tense quickly before relaxing realizing it was only me.

"Hello there." He chimed, turning and wrapping his arms around me.

"Hi." I snuggled further in to his chest, a small satisfied grumble leaving my throat as I soaked him in. I could hear the soft chuckle from Namjoon, who was obviously amused by my satisfaction.

"I've missed you." I mumbled, pulling away from his chest and looking up at him. His grin only grew, his finger stroking a strand of my hair behind my head before placing a soft kiss on the top of my head. I felt my stomach begin to do somersaults again, my wolf side very pleased with the affection.

"We've missed you more." He whispered, his eyes squinting cutely in my direction before I got another little peck on my forehead.

"Alpha?" A female voice was heard from behind Joon, the both of us turning to see a young female standing behind us with a clipboard and pen. She looked at me, an almost distasteful look on her face as she handed him the papers.
