Chapter 13

"Jungkook, what are you doing?" I questioned my mate as I stepped out the tent, taking note of him a few feet ahead looking like he was stretching. It was still a little early in the morning so everyone was still sleeping and when I woke up I saw Jungkook was out of bed.

He turned to look at me, a small smile growing on his face as he walked up to place a quick kiss on top of my head.

"Morning beautiful, I was just going to go for a run." He pointed to the trail leading in to the woods that wrapped around the place.

"Do you enjoy running?" I asked out of interest, trying not to show that his compliment made me feel all soft inside.

"Yeah, I like exercising, do you want to join me?" He asked.

I thought about it and honestly, even though I wasn't much of a runner or anything that had to do with exercise I thought it would be nice to hang out with him a little. Its not like I had anything better to do.

Hurrying back in to the tent I changed in to something other than my pyjamas before hurrying to join Jungkook outside. I could see he was really happy that I had decided to join him, his bunny smile bigger than normal.

What I didn't expect was that when he said run, he literally meant run. Before I even blinked he had taken off, already heading up towards the trail. Letting out a sigh I followed after him, at a more paced jog than anything else.

I think Jungkook picked up on the fact he was going faster than I could keep up with, looking over his shoulder with a cheeky smile as he slowed down a little to match my pace.

"I'm pretty sure when you take a run, the whole point is to actually run." He teased, giggling when I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah well this is as good as its gonna get buddy." I let out, reaching my hand out and ticking his side. He huffed a laugh, almost becoming the shape of a 'C' as he dodged me.

"So how fast can you actually run? Being half vampire and all," I continued our conversation as we jogged along the trail together.

"Oh, I could do the whole trail in seconds." Jungkook said casually, just about blowing my mind. He even went as far as proving it to me. Before I had a second to even look at him he gushed past me and disappeared in to the forest within a second. I turned around, amazed as I waited for him. A loud squeal left my lips as I felt his arms wrap around me, my feet lifting off the ground as he came to a sudden stop.

"Woah!" Was all I could let out, my eyes wide in amazement at just how fast he was. In under five seconds he had ran the entire course and found me.

"Pretty cool huh?" He chuckled, placing me down on the ground.

"Yeah! What else can you do?" I beamed excitedly, curious as to what other abilities my mates had. Jungkook stood for a second in thought before looking up at a tall tree, bending his knees ever so slightly and jumping to one of the higher branches.

I gasped watching as he jumped from tree to tree before jumping down and landing perfectly on his feet. But as if that wasn't enough, he walked over to a large log that was laying on the ground and lifted it with one hand, throwing it in the other direction.

"You're amazing!" I bellowed, watching as he chuckled in amusement seeing how happy I had gotten by what he showed me.

"What about you?" Jungkook

"What about me?" I asked, raising a brow in his direction.

"What can you do? You are half witch after all." Jungkook chuckled, playfully flicking me on the forehead. Making an 'oh' shape with my mouth I thought about what to do, taking notice of the log he had just thrown across to the other side.
