Meeting Tuck

The first glance I took of the Hound Market wasn't such as I expected. It was quite clean and in order, the tents and houses were arranged in order and I can say I was quite surprised. The road wasn't as full as the main one but we finally arrived at The Bloody, still hate the name though.

But let me tell you when I entered I was amazed it was so rustic and beautiful I felt just like in a cabin deep in the mountains. It was beautiful. I parked my bike outside and went to the reception desk. Than a friendly looking demon spoke up to us getting our attention:

"Good Evening, how may I help you?"

"Um, hi, is there maybe someone waiting for us, his name is Tuck?" i asked her giving a smile.

"O, good old Tuck he is just at that table in the corner, I will take you."

"Thank you" I replied.

We quietly followed her, I for one was quite tense, afraid that the demons might see through our disguise, but when I saw that no one even looked at us I relaxed.

The woman led us to a man sitting alone in a corner and said:

"Tuck your people are here, I will leave you to it, call me if you need anything."

"Thank you." i said again.

"Well, you must be Tuck, my name is Khris and this is Nana, nice to meet you, and thank you for offering me your help with the translation."

"NANA, what the hell are you doing here???"

I jumped not expecting him to recognize us.

"I am sorry uncle Tuck, I was curious, and she convinced me." she pointed a finger at me.

" What the heck you agreed on your own and I said I would protect you so don't you dare blame me ." I answered.

" Well it can't be helped that you are both here, let's get going." and he stood up.

" Um and where exactly are we going?" i asked not yet trusting the guy.

"To my house, too many people here." I understood and nodded.

We grabbed our helmets and went outside to my bike, we climbed on and followed Tuck who also had bike a Harley, consider me impress since it was in perfect condition.

What impressed me more was his house it was dull and white on the outside just like the others, but when you entered my jaw dropped at how elegant and modern it was, I hate to admit but he had style imagine a combination between white walls and black furniture.

" You can rest safely here tonight and tomorrow we will get on with the translation." he said.

"Thank you again, uncle Tuck." said Nana.

"O, no don't thank me, I will be writing to your parents right now young lady."

Nana faced was so humorous I couldn't stop laughing and said:

"Look like someone's in deep shit!" she hit my shoulder, but I even heard a laugh from Tuck.

Now that I see him in brighter light he didn't look at all bad, he wasn't as old as I expected it, around 50 years old give or take. He had gray hair and brown eyes, he was lean and strong, but dressed in a simple manner.

"You bet your ass she is." and we both laugh while Nana was furious. "But don't worry i will write to them in the morning after I talked to both of you, but now I think we should all hit the bed for today, the guest bedroom is the second door on the right at the first floor. Have a goodnight."

"Goodnight ." me and Nana said in unison, and headed for the bedroom.

As much as I tried I couldn't sleep, my eyes just won't close, especially with Nana snoring next to me. And, as it pains me to admit it, I couldn't get my mind of that monster we met on the road, the fact that it evolved, in all the books that I read in the library there was nothing about the fact that they could actually think. Would my plan of killing the queen is out, because if they can think for themselves they don't actually need her? Or is it that only she is evolving and controls them better? Is she capable to evolve that much that not even the brightest of hunters can even kill her minions? So many questions bugged my head and with the stress of not telling my parents, putting Nana in danger, just for my revenge. But will this revenge not be helpful to the whole world, I was beginning to have some doubts and that scared the hell out of me.
