Wing - 6

                      Malcolm through his secretary collected the information of the flower shops in the city that were proximal to the orphanage and  there were eleven orphanages. As Malcolm was condensing the information he got, Mera came to him to know if there were any improvements in finding the one she loves. "Malcolm did you find him" she asked, "Yes Mera,in fact we are going to have lunch together" he said kinda irritated. Mera was so happy to hear that "What should I wear, shall I confess my love first or should I start our conversation more casually" she dumped him with questions jumping up and down which annoyed him.
               He calmed himself down and questioned "How hard did you hit your head, when you jumped with me?" Mera was confused. His anger compass started rising again for he said "Mera please understand something, I am not Superman. Just now we have got information about flower shops in the city. After this , we should short list the shops and find the one. " He took time to explain to  her like a child for which she nodded and signalled as she completely understood his plan but finally  she asked a question which made him pull his hair out of his head and scream.
                   Despite explaining everything she said" Malcolm so we are not having lunch with him this afternoon. Am I right?". As he got vexed and started screaming, Mera got scared and ran away from his room. After a short while, calming himself down he realised she was not around him and called out for her but she was nowhere to be seen. So as a final warning he said "If you don't show yourself to me now, i will stop searching for your precious one" just then she came back. "Where did you go Mera?" he asked for which she said that she was scared and ran away which made him laugh out loud for he reminded her "Good heavens Mera, you are the phantasm and not me. How can you be scared? Seriously I can't believe I thought you were a tough phantasm at the beginning. "
                   Mera felt kinda embarrassed but still she did not want to agitate him and so they went along with the plan, after he finally made her understand they still have a very long way to go to find him. Before that, Malcolm wanted to know if Mera could possess him and come outside without harming him and so the practice session started.  Mera till date kept the promise she made him on the first day that she will not touch him. "Mera are you really sure you can come out after possessing me and you will not become an evil phantasm and harm me?" asked Malcolm. She was disappointed with his question but she promised him that she will only do it to fulfil the purpose and he will not even feel Mera inside him.
                So Mera took the first step as Malcolm closed his eyes, sparks started to fill her as she tried to enter his body but however she tried, she could not enter. Malcolm could thoroughly feel her frustration and tried comforting her. The more she tried ,he understood how deeply she was in love with him and he longed to be the one, but he was not. He was just a tool to find him , a tool who should not fail her. As deep thoughts filled him he realised something and asked himself " Are you falling for her Malcolm, or have you already fallen in love with her".
               He could not see her suffering and all he wanted was, to protect her , shower her with affection but, his heart  failed him by correcting his motives saying he wanted to shower her "love not affection". He did not want to express his feelings because she might think ill of him. Finally as she was about to give up Malcolm subconsciously said "Mera, step into my body through my eyes, find my soul and please stay there for awhile". Though she did not want to frighten him there was no other way she could enter his body and so it happened.
               He opened his eyes and let her in , they both felt the sparkles within but Mera was very careful not to touch him and yes she found his soul. As she was within him she could feel his agony, loneliness but what she did not understand was an undesirable yearning within him. A few moments later Mera could detach from him and came out through his eyes and now they have successfully completed the first step of the mission "Find him". Mera was really happy that she could come out without harming him but she could sense Malcolm was completely changed from the day she met him.

Will she find the change in him? Will Malcolm blurt out his feelings for Mera? What will happen if she finds out? Does Mera think Malcolm as only a tool to him her beloved? Doesn't she value his friendship? Will she understand his yearning? Though her eyes are blind her heart is not, will she understand Malcolm? To know more answers travel with me.
