Fighting For Love

Chapter 12

Grayson P.O.V

"I love you"

I said the words too fast for my brain to comprehend what was going on. He sat there for a moment before he came back to reality with a response.

"Grayson, I love you too." I closed my eyes in contentment and leaned my head against him once more. I took a breath of fresh air and prayed that this moment wouldn't end.
Hearing his heartbeat against his chest gives me a feeling of contentment. It makes me want to stay there forever because I know that in his arms, I am safe.

For the next hour, We don't say anything to each other. We just sit in comfortable silence, Looking at the stars. What happened next really ruined the moment and my night.

'Grayson, You need to get out of the house. You're in Danger' The same voice from before appeared in my mind. Their words caused my heart to react and I jumped up a little too fast. The next thing I know that I was very light-headed. Everything around me was spinning.

I quickly regain my composure and go to warn Zain of the voice and what it had just told me.

Before I could get a chance, A wave of dark energy hit me like a ton of bricks. I fell to my knees, being too weak to stay standing on my own.

"Zain, We need to get out of here. It's not safe. Something is wrong." He immediately jumped into action and picked me up. Hoping to speed out of there. Before he was able to do so, A figure stepped out of the shadows.

"Well Well. I knew you weren't the smartest. However, I didn't know you were stupid enough to sleep with a Bloodsucker." The man was in full sight now and I was finally able to tell who it was. Kyle.

"Kyle?! You're one of them? Even I didn't think you could stoop this low." He laughs maniacally and takes a few steps toward us. Zain gets in front of me with his fangs barred and his eyes glowing a very dangerous shade of red. This causes Kyle to stop in his tracks and lock eyes with Zain.

"Zain, Was it? Ah, Yes. I'm gonna offer you a choice. Either you hand over this abomination or I will kill you myself." Zain chuckles.

Without Blinking an eye, Zain jumps him. Causing himself and Kyle to fall with a loud thud. Zain was able to get the upper hand and pin him to the ground. Kyle was able to get one of his hands free and threw a pretty solid blow to Zain's face. He didn't like this one bit.

Zain went for Kyle's neck but a blast of energy flew zain off of him with a pained grunt. Kyle was able to get back up and dust himself off like this was just a minor inconvenience for him.

"I tried to be nice and offer an ultimatum for you, but you give me no choice." He stalks toward Zain. The fire started to wrap itself around Kyle's whole body. He was about to kill him. He isn't gonna win this time.

I let all the floodgates in my mind open. Within seconds, a storm began to form above us. Kyle lost all momentum and stared at the sky. He held a puzzled look on his face until he looked at me. Streaks of white and gold light surrounded my body, My eyes glowed a bright white light. I was letting my power take full control of my body. I wasn't worried about the consequences that were sure to come.

Kyle widens his eyes in fear, Looking at me with horror etched on his face.

"You can either leave, or I will have no other option." Kyle's face softened and the corners of his mouth rose in a sinister smile.

"What do you think you can do to me? You can't kill me, Even if you could, you wouldn't be able to do it." He laughs. The wind begins to pick up to dangerous speeds. Kyle is having issues standing in one place as the wind is pushing him around.

Lightning lit up the sky. The thunder boomed loud enough to shake everything around us. I look over at Zain to see that he is unconscious. The fire in my veins came to life. Without a second thought, Streaks of White and Gold light encased his body and brought him to me

"Kyle, I'm sorry about this." He looks at me confused until The realization hits him. A bolt of lightning hits my body and I was able to refocus it toward him.

The lightning shot from my body with a force that should've killed him right in his place. It didn't. He flew back and hit the tree behind him.

The anger in my veins came back down to a slight boil. I was able to carry Zain back inside but not without struggle. This man is heavy.

I made my way to my bedroom and was able to lay him on my head. I laid my head against his chest and didn't hear a heartbeat. I started to panic. We just said we loved each other, I can't lose him now.

I conjured up enough energy and shot a wave of electricity into his chest. I check his heart again, but Still nothing. I amped up the voltage a bit and did it again. Still nothing. This time, I wasn't holding back. I conjured up all the power I could. I laid my hands on his chest and closed my eyes.

"Please Zain, I need you" With that, I let it all go. Causing his body to jolt at the electricity. I checked his heart once again. It worked! His heartbeat was extremely weak but I was just happy it worked.

Without thinking, I took a blade to my Palm and sliced it clean through. I held my hand to his mouth so I could get a bit into his system. Within seconds, he started reacting. His lips wrapped around the edge of my hand. Not too long later, His eyes opened. I could see that he was still weak.

I couldn't help the tears that escaped my eyes as he looked at me. He slowly took my hand in his, ignoring that I was still bleeding. He softly pulled me towards him and gave me a gentle kiss.

"You know, It's supposed to be me saving you." He joked. It caused a smile to break out on my face. He licked my wound closed and I got into the bed next to him.

I buried my face into his chest and lightly sobbed. I couldn't help to think about how I almost lost him. The fatigue shortly caught up to me and I slowly drifted away to slumber.
