el was walking to class when she bumped into someone, a redhead, slightly taller than her, she had freckles across her face
"oh- i'm sorry-" "wait, i've seen you before. max right?" eleven asks the redhead, "correct, math class?" max asks, "yep!" "same! we should walk together to get to know each other more" max suggests, "sure" eleven responds, "w-why is she so pretty? no el you can't think that you have a boyfriend, yeah but i'm just calling her pretty, well not calling thinking but that isn't cheating. right?" she thinks, "earth to el." max says, waving her hand in front of her eyes. "oh yeah sorry- i just zoned out" "you were saying?"

-time skip bc i'm lazy- the bell rings for the end of the day, as max is heading out el comes up to her, "hey max! um before you leave could i get you number- n-not because i have a crush on you just for like friend purposes y'know because sometimes you want to make friends like i think your cool so i wanna be friends get it? anyways could i get your numb-" el gets interrupted by max "***-***-**" max responds, "thank you!"

el: why are we texting each other when we are right next to each other? btw i have to

"bye el, wanna ft tonight?" max asks her, "maybe, i'll see i am a bit busy tonight but i will when i get the chance!" el responds, leaving the classroom and heading home.
