"So, what's our next plan?"

The morning breeze seemed soothing, accompanied by the tweeting of birds, swooping by as they bestowed a beautiful melody that sang the sun awake from its slumber, peaking through the horizon. The gentle sunlight landed on the leaves and branches of trees, making shadows that danced on the concrete road — a play performed by nature itself.

These wonderful pieces of classical tunes; were joined by an outsider — a pair of footsteps trudging on the stone ground, its rhythmic beat overshadowing steady breathing. Ahane huffed, not from the fatigue but from the question arising from Midoriya.

Despite Ahane's unwillingness, Midoriya continued to pester on. "That...argument I supposedly had with Uraraka-san. I guess that's our only lead at the moment." The boy suggested, surprisingly his stamina knows no bounds, following Ahane without breaking a sweat; but he supposed flying doesn't consume much energy.

"Uraraka-san doesn't look like the type to be angered easily like a certain someone," Ahane added, "Whatever dispute you two had must be pretty severe."

Ahane and Uraraka weren't quite acquainted with each other yet, he wasn't sure if a proper conversation had ever even transpired between them. All the info he knew was from online — from the sports festive and news displayed on a tv screen. And from the silent people watching for the past week, he briefly concluded that Uraraka and Midoriya could never fight, not unless there was a solid rhyme or reason to do so.

Midoriya tensed up, "Well...we never know unless we find out, right?"

"The better question is how are we even going to approach her without sticking out like a sore thumb."

The boy sighed, slowing down his pace, beads of sweat rolling down the side of his face. The sun now far away from the horizon, Ahane walked in the shade, nearing a drinking fountain while Midoriya spoke up.

"We shouldn't rush this then, wouldn't want to arouse suspicion." he floated. "I guess going with the flow is the best option, we still have time...I think."

"Just entertain yourself the best you can, then you'll be fine," Ahane interjected, letting the water surge before taking a few refreshing sips.

Midoriya tilted his head, "What do-

"Ahane-! Fancy seein' you here." A booming voice travelled from behind them, "I knew I would bump into you here, you have such a strict routine." Ah, such a recognisable voice, Ahane greeted him without the need of turning around.

He bobbed, "Good morning to you too, Kirishima-san."

"Ah quit it with the honorifics, we're great friends now, aren't we?" Kirishima scooted near Ahane, arm wrapped around Ahane's neck. With the red-haired boy's closed eye grin and the morning sun directed at Ahane's vision, at this rate, his eyes would undoubtedly go blind.

"...yes." is what he could muster before Kirishima loosened his grip. Ahane cleared his throat, pulling back his composure. "I'm guessing you went all the way here for a reason?" he glanced behind Kirishima, gaze landing on a group of familiar faces.

Ashido waved at Ahane, Kaminari doing the same. The duo didn't take long to make themselves comfortable in Ahane's presence, it's almost frightening how fast they got close to the boy. Was that always how friendships progress? Ahane was the last person to know.

"Yup-! You're sharp as ever, Ahane." Kirishima beamed, "Well, you see. We were gonna hang out and we're wondering if-

"Ahane-kun!"

Midoriya went through Kirishima's body, appearing in front of Ahane. "Sorry to interrupt, but something bad is happening." He could still vaguely hear Kirishima's voice muffled by Midoriya's abrupt yelling.
