Mikayla's pov
Early in the morning i got a text from ethan saying his parents and his friends are going camping and he's inviting me, i packed my stuff in a duffel bag and grabbed a sleeping bag and walked over to Ethan's house as we got into the car and we drove to a lake and me and ethan started setting up our tent and jonah and benny set up their tent and sarah and erica set up their tent along with Ethan's parents and sister, in the tent me and ethan sat down and smiled at each other...
" Its great to be camping with you and your family...but " i said pointing to jonah who was still helping benny and rory with the tent
" I know, but benny and rory are my best friends..." Ethan said sighing
" And I'm your girlfriend " i said as sarah came into the tent and sat down
" Hey " sarah said
" Hey " i said annoyed as ethan smirked at me
" Hi " ethan said to sarah
" Wanna go swimming? " Sarah asked me as i nodded and we went swimming
Ethan's pov
I stayed in my tent and jonah walked into my tent and smiled at me as he asked me to help with the tent and we walked over to their tent as jonah helped benny with the tent and i helped rory and jonah watched me and rory and i noticed he was watching me and after i finished helping them i went back to my tent while my dad and sister went fishing and jonah sat in my tent with me
" Hey " jonah said
" Hi " i said
" Thanks for inviting me " jonah said
" Your my friend " i said as jonah nodded at me and smiled
" Just friends? " Jonah asked me as i nodded
" Im dating mikayla " i said as me and jonah just stared at each other and it kinda got awkward as mikayla walked into the tent and sat down as she dryed her hair and i looked at her
" What? " Mikayla asked me
" Can i talk to jonah alone? " I asked her
" No " mikayla said as i scoffed
" What? " I said as mikayla scoffed and she got up and walked out
" I heard about mrs. Beth " jonah said as i nodded
" Yeah, she's gonna be in jail for awhile " i said as jonah smirked
" I wouldn't have said anything " jonah said as i looked at him
" Yeah? " I asked jonah
" Yeah " jonah said
" Are you just saying that so ill go back out with you? " I asked jonah
" No " jonah said
" Oh..." I said sweetly as me and jonah started leaning in and i looked away awkwardly and sighed as jonah smirked sweetly like he knew i wanted to kiss him but mikayla was outside and it seemed like jonah didnt care so he grabbed my chin and pulled my face towards his and his lips were against mine as i slowly pulled away and he looked at me and smiled and i looked away and cleared my throat alittle as mikayla walked back in and sat down and jonah got up and walked out
" Your dad's making dinner and starting the camp fire...come on " mikayla said as she got dressed and we sat around the campfire and jonah stared at me and i looked at him and then mikayla and knew i was confused, my parents put jane to bed and fell asleep and mikayla went to the tent and jonah and rory fell asleep and erica and sarah went for a bite as me and benny sat at the camp fire
" Hey " benny said
" Hi " i said
" You could have told me about mrs. Beth " benny said as i sighed
" What would you have said? " I asked him sternly
" I dont know " benny said
" What you have done if i told you about me and mrs. Beth? " I asked benny sternly
" I dont know, ethan she was your teacher " benny said as i scoffed
" I know " i said bummed out
" Do your parents know? " Benny asked me
" yeah, principal hicks told them " i said as benny nodded
" Mikayla is a good girlfriend....you shouldn't be mad at her for helping you " benny said sweetly
" I know " i said looking at the tent and seeing mikayla asleep
" Shes trying ethan....and that's what matters " benny said as i looked at him
" What if she's not the problem? " I asked him
" Then thats for you and her to talk about...mikayla has done awful things in the past but shes going through therapy now and trying....you have a great girlfriend and your not even letting her in your life " benny said as i signed
" Because she doesn't belong in my life and i dont belong in hers...jonah came in my tent and we kissed..." I said as benny looked behind me and his eyes widened and i looked behind me and mikayla was standing behind me with her arms crossed as i got up
" Mikayla " i said as she supersped off into the woods and i sat back down
