Mikayla's pov
I slowly woke up on the hard ground all groggy and i rubbed my eyes and fixed my hair and stayed in my pjs as i noticed ethan wasn't in bed, i got up and put my shoes on and walked out of the tent and seen him and benny talking and i slowly walked up behind them as i heard them talking about me and ethan was saying awful things about me and how he didnt want me in his life and then i got upset when he admitted that him and jonah kissed earlier in the tent and when he saw me standing behind him i ran off into the woods dodging trees and branchs and rocks and slowly stopped running when i ran out of breath and was along way from camp...my foot slipped and i fell down a rocky mountain and slowly got up as i seen a car driving on a road path and i walked up to it and the car stopped and the dude rolled down his window
" Hi " i said at the grown man who was good looking as heck and he looked like ezra from pretty little liars
" Hi, what are you doing up here in the mountains all by yourself? " The guy asked me as i panted and looked at the mountain
" I was camping with some friends but they didnt want me there...could you drive me home please? " I asked the guy as he smiled at me and nodded
" Get in " the guy said as i opened the car door and sat in the seat and closed the door and put on my seat belt as he started driving
" Where do you live? " The guy asked me as he turned on his gps as i gave him my address and he put it into his gps and it was awkward silence as he glanced at me and back at the road
" What's your name? " The guy asked me as i stared out the window
" Mikayla... what's your name? " I asked the guy as he smiled at me
" Ezra " ezra said as i smiled back at him
" Where do you go to school? " Ezra asked me as i snickered
" What? " I asked him
" I mean you look about 17 so what school do you go to? " Ezra asked me
" Whitechapel high " i said smiling
" I work their " ezra said as i smirked
" Really? " I said
" Yeah, im the new english teacher " ezra said as i smiled at him
" Nice to meet you " i said
" Nice to meet you to " ezra said as we smiled at each other and we drove to a gas station and ezra got out and got gas and ezra got back in and it was awkward silence between us
" Here " ezra said as i smiled and handed him my phone as he put his number in my contact list and handed me my phone back and we drove to whitechapel and he stopped in front of my house as i got out and closed the door and he rolled down the window
" Ill see you later " ezra said as i smiled sweetly
" Yeah " i said as he smirked at me and drove away and i walked into my house as ethan called me and i ignored it and fell asleep as i woke up and got dressed and walked to school and ethan walked up to me
" Mikayla, let me explain " ethan said as ezra watched us talk
" No, you said it yourself ethan...you dont want me in your life " i said as ethan scoffed
" Mikayla...i was tired and i didnt mean it...jonah kissed me " ethan said as i rolled my eyes
" And that makes it okay? Ethan you still cheated...you admitted that you and jonah kissed and then you said i dont belong in your life because i told principal hicks about mrs. Beth " i said as ethan was annoyed
" But- " ethan tried to say but i cut him off
" Forget it, we're through " i said as i walked into class and ethan sighed as he walked into class and sat next to me and he tried talking to me and ezra didnt like it so he asked ethan to sit next to rory and ethan got confused and changed his seat as me and ezra looked at each other and smiled lightly and ethan noticed it
After class i talked to ezra alone and ethan watched
" Thanks for asking ethan to change his seat " i said as ezra smiled at me
" Yeah, you deserve better than a teenage boy who treats you like dirt " ezra said caressing my hand with his thumb as ethan got a flashback of mrs. Beth touching his hand like that in the diner and the flashback stopped
" Ill see you later " i said awkwardly about to walk out as ezra stopped me
" Or you could text me " ezra said as i smiled and nodded and left the classroom as ethan got jealous
" Really? Ezra? " Ethan asked me as we walked
" Its not your business " i said as ethan scoffed at me
" Really? Okay " ethan said walking away as i took out my cellphone and texted ezra as he texted me back and i smiled at our constant texting
