Chapter 4

April POV

     I hear the female krang yell after us,"Run, insects, but you can't escape!" She then knocks us off the motorcycle. I yell at the alien before it snarled,"The key, human. Give it to me!" I quickly grabbed my bat and threw it at the pink alien. I threw more stuff from my bag ending with the blue chemicals I had. I burned through her left eye."AAAHH!! WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME! WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY FACE?!" She screams."I knew that stuff was nasty! I told y'all." I look over to Splinter as he mumbles,"Yes. You're a genius. Let's go."

Casey POV

     Me and Leo were still fighting the subway krang monster. We looked down and saw the floor cracking and we fell down the hole.

Donnie POV

     April called in telling us something,"Donnie, come in. They found us. Where should we go? Donnie?" I replied to April's question." We're trapped. We are trapped in the subway under metro tower. The tank is running out of emergency tower and being covered in some kind of krang bio growth." I repeat." As I said that a robotic arm grabbed another battle shell. Mikey holds onto my arm to tell April,"April, come quick! We're getting squished!" April replies quickly,"We're on our way." Splinter then asks."But April, how will we get them out." April looks at him before saying,"I got an idea." Splinter then cringes before saying,"Yeesh. Remind me to never get on your bad side."

Casey POV

      I hear Leo call my name and I push my way through the rubble. I slide down towards him before questioning him,"What the heck was that?" Leo winces before answering,"Some kind of drippy crazy krang monster." I roll my eyes before raising my voice at him,"No, I mean you! Why weren't you listening to anybody?" Leo then responds with concern,"Because I was trying to get us into the building!" I then throw my hand up in the air while saying, "That sure worked out well." It was quiet for a moment before Leo ask,"I was doing everything right. How could it go wrong?" I honestly yelled a reply,"Because you weren't listening to your team! You don't have all the answers all the time!" "But I'm the greatest ninja the world's ever seen. You said that." Leo looked at me. I blinked before saying," I was wrong." Leo's face expression went into a shock and hurt as I said that.

      "What?"Leo answers shocked."You're impulsive, you're arrogant, and you don't see that every decision you make could cost someone their life! You want to know what really happened to your brothers in the future?! They die. Everybody dies fighting the Krang. The world needs Master Leonardo. And all I get is this guy." I say honestly, and by Leo's expression he looked hurt but ignored the expression. I tossed the photo by Leo and left to look for a way out.

       As I try to dig through the rubble,I hear shuffling, I glimpse in the corner of my eye and see Leo. He starts to talk,but I ignore him still digging through the rubble."Look, I know I'm not the Leo you knew in the future, and maybe I never will be. This whole time I was sure my family needed me, but the truth is I need them. If we're gonna survive this, we have to do it together." Together they bashed through a rock that was blocking the way out. There was a cable going up and we both climbed up.

Donnie POV

       The alien subway starts to breaks,the female voice tells us we imminent time left. " Good. We have an imminent amount of time." Mikey spoke I quickly tell him that,"Imminent means soon, Mikey." I then see Mikey cowers in my arms as we are currently holding onto each other. Mikey then pipes up," Don't worry. I'll save us with my mystic hands." I see Mikey try to use the 'mystic hands' but nothing happens, "Casey must have been wrong about me." I hear creaking above me and notice that the roof is about to break Mikey grabs me suddenly yelling," This is it Donnie. WE'RE GONNA GET CRUSHED!" We screamed clinging onto each other before I heard a familiar voice,"Knock, knock!" Raph spoke up with a gruff voice,"April?" April then yells,"Anyone order a rescue?" The creature then attacks them,April throwing bottles that had blue liquid yelling,"Boom goes the herbicide!"

        Mikey,tears in his eyes, hugs me,April,Raph,and Dad,saying,"April! You saved us!" I then say with a boring tone,"Uncomfortable with emotion." Dad then speaks up,"Where is Leo and future boy?" Raph replied with the answer,"Somewhere in there." We all jerk our heads, to where the motorcycle was, hearing yelling,"Faster! They're this way. I can smell them." April then says,"She found us. We gotta move!"

Leo POV

        As we enter a building, we saw a whole bunch of krang goo everywhere,before I go on saying,"Oh man, is this what the future looks like?" " Nope, the future is worse. Much worse." Casey responds. " Donnie, Mikey,Raph, do you read me?" I say trying to get any readings from my brothers. I hear Donnie's voice saying,"Come in, Leo. Come in, Leo." I then reply to him," Donnie, Donnie, where are you?" I then hear Donnie say,"We've extracted ourselves from the subway and are currently ascending a staircase." I look up and see my brothers,April,and Dad from the foot of the staircase. They all run up to us except for Donnie who was still getting a reading from us saying some nonsense,"I'm getting a lot of interference, but if you hold still, I can triangulate your position using a complex geo location algorithm."Casey tries to get Donnie's  attention but it fails. While Donnie was saying more nonsense Dad clears his voice getting irritated at the end,"Odd numbers.. primes.. no almost... Almost! Ugh, I never get to use my algorithm."

        I go up to my brothers saying,"Man, I am so glad you guys aren't dead" "Ditto!" Mikey says while I hug my brothers before I interrupt the sappy moment,"Okay, before this gets too mushy, we need to locate Y/N. Donnie, can you tell me if they're still in the building." Donnie then replies,"Bet your momma's subatomic particles I am. Got them! They're close they're almost on top of us. Wait... they are on top of us." Slime dropped onto his tracking device. We all look up seeing a slime cocoon and we saw a figure in it. "Y/N!" We all yell. I told Casey to get them out. He uses his saw weapon to cut the vines,the cocoon fell down to the floor with a splat,I use my katana to slice a opening since the shell was too thick. "Hold on my friend, we got you. Almost there. Y/N?" I pull out Y/N gently.
