Carley stood pointing her gun out of a gap in the fence. The group turned to see two men standing there raising their hands. The larger of the two in front carried a gas can and spoke back to Carley:
"Whoa, lady, relax! Me and my brother, we... we just wanted to know if y'all can help us out"
"I SAID BACK OFF" Carley yelled again, still pointing her gun, before Lilly whispered to her to calm down.
"We don't want any trouble" Lee called back to the men.
"Of course, neither do we. I'm Andy St. John...."

"...We're just out looking for some gasoline. Looks like you folks got the motel locked down, which is fine, but if you could spare any gas we'd be much obliged"
Carley narrowed her eyes.
"Why do you need gas?"
"Our place is protected by an electric fence. Generators provide the electricity" Danny answered.
"Our generators run on gas. Look, we own a dairy farm a few miles up the road. If y'all be willing to lower your guns, we can talk about some kind of trade" Andy chuckled.
"How are y'all doing on food? We got plenty at the dairy" Dan called out.
Clem couldn't see him, but from the sound of his voice he gave her the creeps. Lilly looked over towards Lee and spoke:
"Lee why don't you and Mark go and check the place out. See if it's legit".
Lee nodded as Carley lowered her gun and turned to him.
"I'm going with you. I've got your back if anything seems fishy".
Lee smiled and nodded as Andy called out
"So uh... what are y'all thinking?"
Lee called out. "You've got a deal. We'll bring some gas to your dairy. In exchange, you give us some food to bring back. We'll see how it goes from there"
