(Mortal/high school AU) (⚠️LIGHT (maybe not so light) SMUT WARNING⚠️) (this one is longer than most of my others so far, just in case you don't like long stories)

It was another Tuesday for Nico, wake up, go to school, attend classes, sleep in classes, go to library and stay for as long as possible before going back to his gloomy manor house. That's what he always did, and that's what he was planning on doing that day, but the universe had other plans.

The day did start out normally enough, he woke up just in time to not have breakfast and be fashionably late to his first class, physics. he walked into the classroom in a sleepy haze, slumping into his seat and immediately thumping his head down to sleep.

Nico had only had his eyes closed for a couple minutes when someone even more late than he was slammed open the door.

"So sorry I'm late Mrs. Parthenos!" He panted, looking truly apologetic, and rather disheveled. His hair was tousled, bangs plastered to his forehead with a sheen of sweat, his bag was falling of his shoulder, his shoelaces were half undone, and his labored breathing didn't help the picture, well, unless the person looking at said picture was Nico, which it was, and he was enjoying the view quite well.

"It's okay, Solace. Just sit down." She waved  vaguely and turned back to the white board, to continue to write.

Nico, sensing that the entertainment was over, put his head back down, until he was disrupted once more by a finger tapping his shoulder. "What?!" He yelled quietly, looking up to see the same blonde guy with the messy hair from a minute again crouching beside him.

"Sorry, but, uhhh, you're in my seat." The bright boy gave a small, apologetic smile, brow tilted awkwardly.

Nico groaned slightly, looking around only to see that he, indeed, was in the wrong seat. "Fuuuu... shit." He cursed under his breath and snatched up his bag, moving over to the left by one desk space to his own chair.

"Thank you." The boy mouthed, running his hand through his golden curls, and never in his life ha Nico ever been so jealous of a hand.

After that small interaction Nico slept for the rest of class right up til the bell rang.

"That's it for today, class. Next time we'll talk about..." Mrs. Parthenos told them about what they'd do in their next class, and it probably made sense to the people who hadn't slept through the entire class, but Nico was not one of those people.

Nico shoved his textbook, which he's used as a pillow, back into his bag and hefted it onto his shoulder, and slunk out the door to his next class. He noticed someone walking beside him and looked over to see the handsome blonde from earlier.

"What do you want?" Nico sneered, too tired to have anything close to polite conversation.

The boy flinched slightly, but plastered on a smile. "Ah, well, I have the same class as you this period, and I thought you wouldn't mind if I walked with you." He smiled a little wider. "Sorry if I made you uncomfortable or something!" He blurted. "I'll go ahead then!" He scampered off.

Nico stared after him in confusion before shaking his head and continuing to class.

"Why was Solace talking to you?" A voice from behind Nico spoke right in his ear, startling him.

He made a noise like a squeaky toy and whipped around to see Hazel, his half-sister, laughing at him. "Hazel!" His voice was an octave higher than usual, and his cheeks flushing furiously. "What was that for?!" He yelled, though it was still only barely heard over the bustle of the hallway.
