Will was walking out from his favorite coffee shop when he saw him. Nico Di Angelo, the new boy who had just transferred into most of Will's classes. A couple weeks ago, Will was peacefully learning and then this dude showed up. Will didn't know what it was about him, but he didn't like him.

Nico was riding by on his motorcycle, making his way to class where Will would inevitably see him once again. Will was watching him go, giving a polite wave when Nico glanced over. No matter how much how much he disliked Nico, he couldn't stop being polite.

When Will walked into class five-ish minutes later, he looked around, trying to find a place to sit. He spotted one at the very back of the room next to, oh no, Nico Di Angelo.

This was the second that Will had been forced to sit next to Nico and he was no more excited for it than the first time.

"Hey, sunshine." Nico smirked. Will usually didn't mind the nickname, but the was Nico said it was infuriating. He had a slight Italian accent that made Will's chest flutter, so annoying.

"Hello, deathboy." Will said curtly. It was a fitting nickname for him. Nico had raven black wavey hair that reached to just above his shoulders. He had milky pale skin with the slightest tinge of olive. Will always noticed how small his waist looked from behind, almost like Will could wrap his fingers around it was connect them on either side. He was quite petite and despite his feminine physique, his arms were defined with sturdy muscles. He was wearing a baggy black jacket that hung off his slight shoulders and there was a skull print t-shirt just peeking out from underneath. He also had black skinny jeans that Will could just see under the table and Will definitely didn't notice how well they hugged his thighs. Deathboy was the perfect nickname.

"Ouch, that's a new one." Nico said sarcastically, sneering, spoiling his cute features. Did he always have a spray of freckles over his nose?

Class passed rather uneventfully. Both boys kept mostly to themselves. At the end of class, the teacher was announcing pairs for the group project.

"... and for the last pair: Will Solace aaaaaaaaand Nico Di Angelo." Both Nico and Will groaned.

"Great, now I'm stuck with deathboy." Will complained.

"I'm not happy either, believe me, sunshine."

Will never knew what to say whenever someone called him sunshine. He wasn't sure if he should take it as a compliment. It was a fitting thing to call him none the less. Will had fluffy blonde hair that fell over his forehead and curled around his ears, so it tickled his cheeks. He had a constellation of freckles covering his whole body. His smile could probably blind people without him even needing to try, and he had bright, ocean blue eyes that sparkled like water. That day he wore a yellow t-shirt and blue jeans. Sometimes, Will noticed Nico staring at him, but he always looked away before Will could fully catch him.

"Well, there's nothing we can do about it now." Nico grumbled, stuffing his books into his bag. "Give me your phone. I'll give you my number."

Will nodded stiffly, watching Nico tuck his hair behind his ear. "Sure." He handed over his phone. Nico typed in his number and handed back the device. Will felt his stomach flutter slightly for some reason.

"Text me when you have time to work on the project." Nico stood up and walked out. Will definitely did not watch Nico's hips sway as he went.

"Okay." Will started packing up his things.

A couple days later Will and Nico were hanging out and studying at Will's dorm. His roommate, Cecil, was out with his girlfriend.
