A dark grey- almost black dragon was curled up around four eggs. There was a large, red egg- the biggest of all of them, a smaller, dark purple egg, an averaged sized light blue egg, and finally, a tiny, plain grey egg.
The dragons eyes opened as the light from the sun seeped into the den. It's eyes where a light blue that transitioned into a yellowish-green kind of colour. One of the dragons wings had a large tear in it- making it unable to fly. The dragon was obviously a male, quite muscly as well.

He got up, tired. Yawning, he made his way to the front of the large, blue-ish grey coloured cave, watching another dragon land in front of him. "What took you so long?" The male joked.
The other dragon laughed. It was most likely a female. "You know why!" She smiled.
"Well, we had no luck-" the male was interrupted by the small sound of cracking.
"Well your having luck now, aren't you?" She smiled, walking into the den. He followed immediately after, excited to see his hatchlings.
The red egg erupted, as a quite large, greyish red dragon spilt out of the egg.

The new parents nuzzled each other happily. The males eyes met the females blueish purple gaze. He jerked his head over to the cub, breaking the moment.

The red cub laughed, falling over softly.
All of a sudden, the blue egg exploded, unlike the other eggs. The light blue- almost white dragon, sat in the middle, completely unharmed.
"Bomb..." The father mumbled, giving the cub a name. It roared cutely, before walking over to its brothers.

The last egg began cracking, more furiously then the others. The dragon demolished the egg from the inside-out. This dragon was unlike all the others. It had a birthmark, like a star, on its forehead. It roared, showing its yellow underwings.

"Huh." The male laughed a little. He watched the small, female dragon walk over to her brothers. She walked over to the largest cub, curling up next to him. The other cub looked down lovingly, protecting her from the other cubs...
