2012- 10 years later

"Katie, let Joey have a turn." Liam says.

Katie runs with a soccer ball around the backyard. Joey runs behind her trying to get the ball.

Katie stops, and passes the ball to Joey.

Joey takes the ball and kicks it into the net on the other side of the yard, making a goal.

Liam and i cheer, "good job, Joey!" And "awesome kick!"

After an hour playing outside, the kids are tired.

"Im hungry!" The "twins" say.

In their minds, Katie is a day older than Joey, but in reality is two months.

Liam takes baked chicken and potato slices out of the oven.

Joey eats corn as well, but Katie doesn't.

All of us have brown hair, Joey has green eyes and Katie has brown.

The "twins" look so much alike but Joey is a little more tan than Katie.

At age 43, i had two kids, and a loving husband. an amazing family.

When Katie turned 16, Liam and I told her and Joey about their adoption. They took it well. I was 49.

when i turned 62, Liam had a heart attack. He died and didn't come back.

Katie and Joey were 29. Joey married his girlfriend, Amanda and Katie got engaged to Caleb, her boyfriend.

When i was 65, i had three grandchildren.

Joey had two kids and Katie had one kid. two boys and one girl.

My children were 32.

Now i am 73, and about to have 9 total grandchildren.

This story was for Liam, my one true love.

I hope to see him very soon.

"kids, im sad to say that Grandpa Neil had a heart attack last night. he passed away early this morning." i say.

Katie holds Caleb, her husband and grasps her daughters and son.

I hold my two daughters and my wife holds out three sons.

We all cry.

We all pray for him to have a peaceful afterlife.

After a few years, we all have our peace with it.
