Chapter 2: Conference

When Liam and I pulled up to the building, i got scared. "Liam, can you go with me?" I pleaded with my eyes.
"I might get in-" Liam was interrupted with a phone call.
"Hello?"
Silence...
"Yes sir. i got him right here."
Silence...
"Okay, got it."
Then he hung up.
"Who was that?"
He turned off the car and got out. he walked around the car and opened the door for me.
"You'll see." Was all he said.
While we walked up the stairs, Liam looked very sad.
"Liam, are you okay?" I asked.
He just kept walking.
When we finally reached the door, Liam let me in first.
"Welcome, Keeper." a woman said.
"My name is Majest. Please, sit." She gestured.
She had green blue eyes and shoulder length brown hair. Her eyelids were shimmery and she was wearing red lipstick.
I sat, mesmerized by her beauty.
She gave Liam a slight glance.
"Well, Liam, did you tell him about my plans?"
Liam looked at me. "plans? What plans?" I asked.
"Glad you asked, Keeper." another glance at Liam, with a hint of anger.
Majest stood from her chair. she lunged over her desk and landed on me.
She held my hands down with her knees. she had one hand choking me and the other in a fist above her head.
"The plans, Keeper," she whispered.
"Are to kill you."
She brought down her fist, an inch away from my face, and let me loose.
I started to pant and sweat, as i do when im nervous or scared.
I started to twitch uncontrollably.
"Whats wrong with him?!" Majest screeched, pointing at me.
"Mus... cle... spa...sam..." I said, almost incomprehensible.
I fell to the floor and went still.

"Ne- keeper? Wake up." Liam shook my shoulder.
I opened my eyes and blinked a few times. "what happened?"
In my brain i felt an absence.
"Li- lia-- im sorry, whats your name? Li..." I asked the man.
"Liam, keeper." he said.
"Well, Liam, who is she?" I pointed to the woman.
"Majest." her blazing blue eyes focused on me.
"Who did you say i was?" I asked Liam.
He looked hurt. "you don't remember?"
"Only the last few minutes."
