The next day Y/N went to the university's orientation. She made it into the line to get her student ID. After she went to see what went on around her. On display were so many clubs and she felt lost. She saw she had nothing more to do so she tried to get back to her dorm.
There he was standing in line. The same line she stood in a couple of minutes ago. She hadn't seen him in a while. Y/N decided to spend her last year of high school d
online so she never returned to school. She hadn't seen him in a year. She almost didn't recognise him.
"Leon?" - she calls out.
He turns to see her.
"y/n? What are you doing here?" - He answers
I should ask the same thing.- she replies
He had grown tall from the last time she saw him. He looked and sounded different but she could not quite put a finger on it.
They went on to chat and Leon asked many questions. She was too focused on the changes and she could barely hear what he was saying. As she looked up, it was the first time she noticed. His blue eyes and golden hair sparkled in the sunlight. Like an angel she thought.
"So, where did you disappear to?" -Leon asks
"Huh?" - she responds as she tries to get out of her daze.
"Oh, I took some time off to finish school." - she answers
They continue to chat about their majors and classes. But Y/N couldn't ignore the indomitable energy they were surrounded with. Girls were staring and listening in their conversation. Most likely since it was an unlikely pair or maybe because Leon was .....hot?. To her observation, Y/N could notice the looks were not just any looks. These were looks of astonishment, confusion and .... Jealousy?
What did they have to be jealous of? It was just Leon. Nerdy Leon.
He's radiating new found confidence and a deep voice. She finally calculated it all. She now knew what type of position she was in and she didn't want to be in it longer.
"I would like to continue this conversation but unfortunately I need to go." - she says as she walks away.
"What? Oh okay." - he says with a sad expression on his face.
Y/N looked back to see girls trying to talk to him. Only to catch his gaze that continued to follow her as she left.
