omg I'm so excited I get to go on a date with Brad today😍. Surely he'll fall for me now!!!!!! After he tried to eat my shirt, I havent washed it since and I even have it hung on my wall framed!! I thought about wearing it on our date as a little memento of when we first fell in love but it was too smelly since it was unwashed and partially eaten, so instead I wore something else

I looked in the mirror and twirled around like the princess I am. My outfit truly did capture every bit of my beauty.i put my hair in a messy bun and struck a pose.. perfect. It was still 5:30, so I had a bit before I had to leave, but I wanted to make sure I got there in time so I got ready 30 minutes before I'm going to leave😝. I decided to call my old friend Garrett Stewart from Wyoming to pass the time (don't wrroy, he has like 20 girlfriends so it's not like I'm cheating on Brad!!!).
"Heyyy Carrot!!! How you doing?!" I asked when he picked up the phone.
"Good! I just aced all of my tests while half asleep! At this rate I'll be able to get into Stanford for quantum physics!" Classic carrot-i mean Garret. He was a genius, good at everything. Even I'm nowhere near as multitalented as him (and that's saying something!!). "How about you, Mari?"
"Great!;! I have a date in an hour and a half!" I said excitedly. I heard a squeal from the other side of the phone.
"REALLY?!! ALREADY?! IT'S ONLY YOUR FIRST WEEK YOU'RE AMAZING!!" he cried out. It would've hurt my ears if we weren't so used to screaming loudly around each other.
"Yeah it's with this guy named Brad! I met him in detention and he couldn't keep his eyes off of me!"
We talked for about 30 minutes before I decided I should leave so I could be early to the date. I grabbed my jet pack and quickly headed out.

Wow there are a lot of birds that keep getting in my way. I keep having to do flips to avoid running into them

I was waiting at the movie theater for 30 minutes before Brad showed up. He showed up on a motorcycle (omg,😱😍) wearing simply a black hoodie and jeans. His usual messy blonde hair was combed back slightly. I frowned. I guess I cared more about dressing up for this date than he did. I skipped over to him.
"Hi! You're here!" I chirped.
"Oh, uh, yeah. Hi." He didn't sound too enthused. I wondered if he was having a bad day.
"So do you have anything you want to see?" I asked him.
"Not really. Haven't checked what's on." So he's not much of a talker...
"That's fine! It'll show on screen when we go up to buy tickets!"
When we got to the ticket stand, Brad scanned the screen with the movie listings and his eyes lit up. Before I could ask if he had decided on something, he spoke up.
"Two tickets for Morbius, please!" he said, holding up two fingers. The employee made a shocked face.
"Are you sure? You said Morbius, right?" Brad nodded enthusiastically.
"Yep. Morbius." I grabbed his arm and leaned on his shoulder. I could feel him tense up slightly. Was he nervous? Brad pais for the tickets and we went to the concession stand to get snacks. We got a popcorn bucket to share, and Brad got a bottle of apple juice, which I thought was cute. So the bad boy has a cute soft side after all!!!😘
Time skip
The movie was amazing. It was so good I almost cried. I actually did cry a bit at the best scene in the movie, where the main character said, "It's Morbin' time" before morbing all over the bad guy. Now I understand why this movie made over a morbillion dollars.
Before we left I saw Brad staring at me weirdly. He seemed to be lost in thought, and I wondered if he was fantasizing about me. I blushed and looked around nervously. But just as I was about to tell him the movie was over and it's time to go, he leaned over and kissed me!!!!👩❤️💋👨
