"One in a Million"

Camp out

"We should have a camp out!" "when?" I asked. "Uh tomorrow at 7:30pm at the tree house next to the sandlot." Benny said. "Okay I think thats a great time. Well see you tomorrow. Goodnight." I told them. "Goodnight Kayla." They said to me as they left. Benny was the last one to leave. I smiled at him and hugged him.

After I hugged him I said "goodnight." He looked at me and winked. "Goodnight Kayla Smalls." he said. After that, I took a shower and braided my hair so the next day my hair would be wavy. I finally fell asleep thinking about the camp out.

The next morning I woke up, ate breakfast, brushed my teeth, got ready, and walked to my mom. I asked my mom "mom can me and scotty sleepover at our friends tree house?" "sure." she said. "Im gonna be the only girl there. Okay bye thanks love ya!" and I started heading towards the door and my mom said "Kayla Arianna Smalls get back here!" "yes mom?" I said. "What do you mean your going to be the only girl there?" she asked. "Everyone there is a guy and im a girl but they are really fun. I've been playing baseball with them alot. Please mom please let me go." I begged to her. "Okay fine but nothing inappropriate okay honey?" she said. "Okay mom love ya I'll be back i'm going to a store." I said.

I walked to a store and bought the guys gifts. I got each of the guys their own bats with their names engraved on it and a baseball quote on it.

It was finally 7:30pm. I walked in the sandlot and the guys were in the tree house. Before I went up I hid Bennys gift behind a bush. Then I went up with scotty.
When we got in the tree house the guys were sitting down. I looked at benny and smiled. I was wearing a cute outfit. He scooted over and I sat next to him. Everyone looked at me and said "why are you wearing braids?" "oh so I can do this." I took of my braids and put on a red bandanna. I looked super cute for just a sleepover. I was wearing high top jean shorts, cute tight red crop top, with red pf flyers. They all looked at me. I said out loud "are you guys drooling?" and I laughed. They all smiled and I said "oh! I almost forgot! Here guys!" I gave them their gifts and I whispered to benny that his gift was outside that when all the guys fell asleep we'd go outside together. He nodded at me and smiled. Everyone was so happy with their bats and they all hugged me.
It was boring so yeah yeah said "lets play truth or dare!" everyone agreed. So did I. Yeah yeah asked ham "truth or dare." "dare." ham said. "I dare you to lick your foot." he said. Ham actually did it. I was grossed out so my gagg reflex acted up. Everyone got dared something and now it was Bennys turn. "Truth or dare benny." "dare." benny said. "I dare you to kiss.... Well theres only one girl so I dare you to kiss kayla." I was shocked. He looked at me and kissed me on my cheek. I smiled and said "okay my turn im feeling rebellious tonight." Yeah yeah said "really well I dare you to ask out your crush right now." I said "okay. Benny will you go out with me?" He smiled and said "yes." I hugged him and kissed him on the cheek. Everyone dropped their jaws and I said "what? It was a dare and I did it."

After a few hours, I sang to them so they could fall asleep. They fell asleep and me and benny went outside. I went to the bush and gave him his gift. His gift was an aluminum bat with his name engraved and a quote from babe ruth. He hugged me and kissed me. When we pulled away I smiled and said "come on lay down with me I love stargazing. He layed his head on my stomach and I ran my fingers through his hair while stargazing. Then we both fell asleep.
