You rouse to the insistent little poking of your baby, his whispered whines of 'Noona, noona, noona' ringing through your ears, trapping you in a lazy haze.
"Mmm, yeah, baby?" You murmur, eyes still closed.
You hear him fidgeting around at first, whining discontentedly. And then...
"Noona, am I a tiger or a hamster?"
This boy.
"You're my little girlfriend, that's what you are." You retort sleepily, Soonyoung spluttering apalled in response.
"Noonaaaa." Well, there goes your sleep.
"Young-ah, you can be whatever you want to be, okay?" You murmur, bleary eyes cracking open slightly as you rake your hands through his hair.
"...really?" The innocent hope in his voice amuses you to no end, making you nod fondly.
"Then I'm a tiger!!" Soonyoung exclaims loudly, making you wince. His grin immediately turns sheepish at your reaction. "Oh, inside voices. Sorry, noona."
You shake your head in fond dismissal, a hand still caressing his fair locks. A finger moves to trace the curve of his cheek. He shivers a little.
"W-what is it?" He whines timidly, pink rising high on his cheeks. You shake your head again.
"Love you, Young-ah." You murmur in English, leaving your baby embarassed.
"I love you too, noona!" He replies in the same language, blushing up a storm.
