Y/N had told the family what Bruno told her to say in the letter, which they didn't know how to take it. Not long after, she told them she was expecting twins, to which the family was overjoyed. Bruno, who was living in the walls of Casita, heard this as well and that made him feel even worse for leaving her, but he still felt it was better for him to stay hidden. When the time came, Bruno watched as she gave birth to a baby boy and girl. She named the boy S/N and the girl D/N.
(A/N S/N means son's name while D/N means daughter's name. Also, here are the twin's outfits, but the colors match (you pick).)

When the twins were five, they each went to the door, getting gifts of their own. S/N got the gift of invisibility and D/N got the gift of keenest sight. Pepa and Felix even had another child, Antonio, who, four years later, just received the power to communicate with animals.
Throughout the years after the twins were born, Y/N told them stories of their father and they asked what he meant when he said he was close by.
"I don't know, but I do know he's here as well as close by," she always answered, placing a hand on her heart.
She even took them around the encanto to see if they could find him, but there was no luck. Their last search went on from some time after Antonio's gift ceremony (they were hidden since they had to leave early) to when Mirabel found Bruno's vision before he left.
They were coming upon Casita from the last search.
"Mamá, do you ever wonder if Papá is actually gone?" S/N asked curiously yet slightly heartbroken.
"No. He can't be. He assured Mamá that he was close by and he wouldn't lie to her," D/N said, almost in tears.
"You're right, D/N. I know he wouldn't. To answer your question S/N, I know your father and he never gave me a reason to think he was gone. Even though he left after saying he would come back, the vision he saw must've weighed on him so much to do this," Y/N assured them then smirked, "So even though I understand why, the first thing I plan to do is maybe smack him upside the head."
This made the twins laugh a bit as Casita stood in front of them.
"Hola, Casita!" they all greeted.
The house waved back, but when they got closer, Y/N noticed the cracks along the walls.
"Casita?" she questioned worriedly then told the kids, "We need to hurry."
