Y/N went further in the walls until she found Bruno's space. She knocked on his door and when he opened it, he was slightly surprised.

"Y/N. I thought you were going with Mirabel," Bruno said.

"No. We actually have more to talk about that I couldn't with her in the same room," Y/N pointed out, crossing her arms.

He sighed and let her in before sitting down.

"I have a feeling this is not going to be pretty," he commented.

"After that vision, you left me for 10 years and it could've been longer. I was even about to tell you I was pregnant with twins. Of course this isn't going to be pretty," she stated.

"I was there for the announcement and their births," Bruno pointed out.

"But I didn't know that. As angry as I was with you, I still told them how amazing you are. But that doesn't change the pain I felt, how I cried myself to sleep almost every night, how the only things I had from you were our children and that note you left me. You do realize there would've been a chance that I could've moved on and remarried, right? But I didn't because I was and am still in love with you, even when you left," Y/N countered.

"You think I wanted to leave you?! Or the kids I didn't know about until the announcement?! You know why I left!" he protested, standing up.

"And yet the love you have for me or them wasn't enough to have you come back to us! You leaving for Mirabel's sake is one thing, but with me, S/N, and D/N, where's the logical reason behind that?!" she shouted, tears forming in her eyes.

She then turned away from him, hugging herself as she silently cried. Bruno sighed as he felt the guilt from over the past 10 years return of what he did to his wife and children. He then looked at her before softly singing.

[BRUNO:]
"Are you the sweet invention of a lover's dream"

Y/N then looked at him, her reddened, tear-stained face more visible before she finished the other part.

[Y/N:]
"Or are you really as wonderful as you seem?"

He held his arms out and she ran straight into them, them holding each other. She lightly sobbed into his shoulder as he just held her, rubbing her back comfortingly and running his other hand through her hair with some tears of his own.

"I am so sorry, Y/N. I never deserved you even before I left. You were the best thing that ever happened to me and I ruined it by leaving. I don't have a good reason for staying hidden, but I thought I was protecting you and the family from that vision, but I should've realized how much pain I was putting you through," he told her.

They parted a bit, looking into each other's eyes.

"Bruno, as painful as it was to be away from you for 10 years, the one thing that kept me going is our time together in the 20 years prior. I don't know how long you planned on staying hidden, but if you were gone for longer, I would be WAY more upset than what you already saw," Y/N said, caressed his cheek, then continued, "I know Mirabel told you that she's bringing you back after she saves the miracle, but I want to bring you back now. You need to properly meet our children."

Bruno smiled lightly and commented, "S/N looks like you."

"And D/N looks like you," Y/N added then mentioned, "They both can't wait to meet you, even though they only know of you from stories and pictures. I can't wait for them to put them together."

"And you know, after finding out, I have loved them, regardless of being gone," he told her.

"I felt like you did with being close by," she replied.

"I also never stopped loving you," Bruno told her.

"And I you," Y/N responded.

They kissed, it being more passionate than the one they shared in front of Mirabel. But they soon stopped when they heard more cracks forming. What really worried them was the rumbling was more severe and the cracks continued through the walls.

"We need to get out of here now," Bruno said.

"Agreed," Y/N panicked a bit.

They then ran out of there and headed for an exit while collecting the rats. Once done, Bruno put on his pail, grabbed Y/N, and busted through the wall, protecting her as they tumbled out. Then they noticed Mirabel going up to get the candle, but when the house came down, Bruno threw himself over his wife to protect her and when the dust settled, they looked back to see Casita was gone.
