Jin had his arms around Jungkook, whose wolf wouldn't let Taehyung go alone inside the room where their pack doctor could help him, "Jungkook listen to me", he held younger's face in his both hands, "I understand he is your mate, but he needs a doctor right now more than you".

"It's okay, relax" Jimin ran his hand over his back, "let her examine him". Jungkook's eyes turned back to his hazel once more, nodding while he sat down on the wooden bench that creaked with his weight.

"How can he be my mate?" He said looking at the closed door of their small pack room they call hospital.

"I don't know kook, I haven't heard about destined mates much", Jin retorted.

"Why— how could I not feel him before? He was a human. My wolf couldn't feel his presence not even a single time", Jungkook thought. He has been in Taehyung's company alot, ever since he met him. Did Older know about it? Is that why he was trying to get close to Jungkook every chance he got?

"Maybe that's why he was trying to get to know you", Jimin smiled but Jungkook's face stayed the same, emotionless. Like he was in a deep thinking phase, his mind connecting all of the memories.

"He said those arrows were made up of silver, will he be alright?" He asked remembering the incident when Taehyung pushed him against the tree, silver is  a wolf's worst enemy, along with wolfsbane.

He has heard many people die after taking a small wound from it, "I-I don't think so kook, it can't be silver", Jimin knowing the same thing prayed for it not to be a silver arrow.

"My father said he is a knight, what is a knight?" Jungkook again asked, looking up at Jin for answers, "maybe we should call his brothers, if they can do something to save him".

And both younger nodded, "I have Hoseok's number in my diary", said Jimin getting up, "you guys stay here I'll get it" he ran to his home quickly.

"What if something happened to him Hyung, my wolf— it's restless" younger looked at the closed door again, his hands holding the wooden bench under himself. So many more of their pack members got hurt, and his father was with the rest of them, taking care of the injured wolves.

Jungkook's wolf won't allow him to leave— to check on them, he just wanted to see older healing and breathing again. He has seen the pool of blood from his shoulder when older shifted back, he looked pale and was unresponsive. Jungkook had carried him back as fast as he could but it was a long journey.

"Nothing would happen to him, you saw his wolf right. He seemed strong, stronger than any other wolf. And he was still breathing" Jin again held his shoulder, caressed it to calm younger down.

"He saved my life—again". Jungkook mumbled, looking down at his bare feet, "I- I was running to save my father, I knew the arrow was coming from the opposite side", he recalled.

"It's not your fault kook, it was his choice. Don't you dare blaming yourself" Jin sat down and looked at him in the eyes.

"Here, I got the number", Jimin was breathing hard after running back to Jin who had a phone with him, "signals are weak here, I'll go to the corner of the pack to see if the call connects", he said and walked away.

As soon as he left the door of the hospital opened and rushed an omega girl out, "I think the arrow was coated with wolfsbane, its spreading out in his body" said her to Jungkook. Younger's world stopped.

He ran inside and saw Taehyung on the bed, his wound was clean from the blood but he was unconscious. He could feel Taehyung's wolf, still in there. It was strange, all this time he couldn't even smell his scent and now it was overpowering his whole senses, leaving him breathless.
