The nights were getting colder, and sitting outside in the open was making him feel cold even though he was an Alpha, Jungkook was sitting by the tree, a little far from the pack houses.

He has been thinking about it, what Jimin said. Immense attraction, sure! It is there, all the time in Taehyung's presence, in his scent he wants to drown, he wants to let go of any restraints on his senses and let himself fall. It's impossible for him to breathe normally, he always tries to hide his thoughts, try to control his eyes, try to hold his breath.

It's extremely hard, being in his presence for these past few days and not fall for him, but at the same time, Taehyung challenges something inside him, he can sense older's rank.

The hardest thing he has been trying to avoid is to submit, Taehyung's presence makes it hard for him to stand his ground, to prove his argument. It tries to force him into submission. And that's one thing Jungkook wouldn't do, he can never do it! Neither can his wolf.

They can't be together! Because Jungkook knows what role he would be playing in their relationship! He can't be an omega in their bond! He won't accept it, and the Alpha inside him will die rather than bending down for someone, especially like Taehyung.

The beauty of older wasn't questionable, but —his character —makes Jungkook angry. Out of all the people in the world he —turned out to be Taehyung's mate.

Sighing for the umpteenth time, he threw away the wooden stick he was peeling off little by little. His wolf picked up a warm honey like scent of Seokjin and then he heard the steps of older walking towards him.

"Kook, you mother has been worried sick for you", Jin said standing infront of younger, "come on, you weren't there for dinner, she made this tofu soup with the meat your father hunted this evening" he placed his hands infront for younger to take.

"Jin hyung. I'm not hungry" Jungkook rolled his eyes before taking his hand and standing up on his feet, "don't you want to sleep in your bed?"

"You've taken over my room, I'm not that excited about sleeping on the floor" he rolled his eyes walking back towards the pack, making Jin laugh.

"I know, that's why I dropped your pillow and blanket into that shabby place you call hospital" he laughed, "what? Why would you do that!" Jungkook grumbled.

"Well, because there's a spared comfortable bed there and your destined mate, who is badly injured by the way, still hasn't gained his consciousness back", Jin argued, making Jungkook groan "Kook I heard what he did, how could you let him go inside such a risky place. Namjoon said he had burn marks all around his shoulders and legs. And his wound that was healing, is open again!"

"I didn't force him! He wanted to be a hero" Jungkook ran a hand through his hair in frustration, "he is your mate kook! Don't you feel bad that he got hurt, twice! Saving your ass!"

"I didn't need his help in either situations, he wanted to play hero!"

"Getting a little too heartless, aren't we?" Jin said sarcastically, "kook you know you would have died if the arrow that he took, would have touched your shoulder instead. Silver, coated with wolfsbane would have made you weaker than any omega!" Jin was walking towards the hospital and Jungkook was listening to his argument which was true and valid but no one has to know how he was feeling on the inside.

"So learn to respect others! Besides he really likes you, no matter how much you accuse him off about all those imaginary stories of yours!"

"Those weren't imaginary! He did all that to Bogum! Why don't you guys trust me!" He jeered making Jin put a hand on his mouth.
