Jungkook stood behind his father as he questioned the girl, she wasn't a wolf, at least in the start until she was grazed with a silver arrow and she screamed louder than anyone else, and her eyes shined with her wolf's color.

Younger wasn't a fan of violence, but he knows it was necessary for the protection of their pack, they needed to know what was coming after them, but she didn't speak, no a single word even after her body had more scratches they could count, and passed out of pain.

"I can help", Namjoon said once Jungkook explained both brothers about their prisoner's no response. Younger stared at both brothers, "I don't think it will work because—"

"I can read minds, it will only take a few minutes" he shrugged and Jungkook's eye widened, he blinked at hoseok who nodded in agreement and he gulped, 'oh my god! I've been so embarrassing this whole time' Jungkook looked down.

"Not at all Jungkook, you have nothing to be embarrassed about" he heard other say which made him close his eyes, "I'll— just go. You can go and check up on her once she's back to conscious" he turned around and ran back to his home.

It was a hectic day, upon asking where Jin was when he couldn't find him in the room his mother told him that he went to Jimin's place to stay tonight, so Jungkook threw his body on the bed, too tired to even think about anything, or maybe too scared to think wondering if Namjoon would know.

Thin line of his lips stayed for a while until he sighed, he had been so obvious about his love and since namjoon could see his thoughts, older still hadn't said a single thing regarding his feelings. Maybe, it wasn't meant to be, he felt annoyed to distract himself from sadness, he stared at moon, which was clear and bright in the sky, tomorrow they'll start preparing for the night after.

Next morning, he woke up better, sleeping really helped his sore body, mind fresh from all negative thoughts and he was so ready for today until his mother handed him a bowl of soup to take it to Taehyung.

"But I—" he started his whine but was cut off in between, "He is your mate Jungkook" his mother had reasoned, "not yet! I haven't marked him and I don't plan on doing that either"

"We'll see about that later, but right now he is wounded, because of you. Now go!" She turned him around, "and make sure he finishes the whole bowl, I heard he didn't eat anything last night either"

"Yea because he ate my brain", he complained and his mother chuckled, "no wonder you're acting this way, all of your brain is gone" she pulled his cheek when he opened his mouth to complain again, "my adorable baby! Go, he needs strength".

Jungkook balancing the hot bowl of soup walked towards the room Taehyung was staying, he looked at the ground, wondering if it will be fun if he accidentally add some mud in it. He decided not to ruin it because his mother was right, Taehyung got hurt saving him and his father. He deserved atleast that much effort.

Younger knocked the door only to see other sleeping, there was no one there other than him. He placed it on the side table, keeping the lid on the bowl.

Older was sleeping on his side, his weight on the shoulder that was hurt. Jungkook wondered if it healed enough to support older's weight.

He stayed there for some time, strolling around the room, staring out of the window, only to realise that Taehyung was really sleeping. He didn't move an inch for all the twenty minutes Jungkook stayed there but his body jolted right when he was about to leave.

"Jungkook" he had said in his morning deep voice, younger just don't like it! Listening to his name from older's mouth, in his voice, and in an amusing tone. He hates it.
