10 - INDIRECTY

I got up from the floor happy finally as if I got permission from my mother to get an ice cream. "Thanks, Jun., '' I said and he nodded, and I went up to my room when my smile faded again. Donghyun, Min, and Mun were on my bed, sitting quietly as they all saw me, they rushed to me and hugged me. And sat back down. I sat down next to them and sighed before saying something they would not be expecting at such a time.

"Listen, all of you... mom might be gone, but she will remain with us forever, after all she was our mother. But Min, and Mun, you will be sent to our aunt and uncle, to live in Incheon. Alright? We are right here. Either Donghyun will stay here with me, or she will go with you two too, that I will decide, as right now, you two are confirmed. I have no choice left. Uncle and Aunty are very sweet. I will need Donghyun with me for some more time, until we are good with our expenses and we have a good earning system, and for that I need to find a part time job, Donghyun and I will stay here some a few more weeks after you both are safe over there, and then, Donghyun, you will follow." 

Donghyun looked at me with a shocked face.

 "But, then what about you? How will you live here alone? You need to come with us. I can't just leave this school and join another-"

 "Donghyun, we have no other choice left, okay, I know it's going to be hard, but you will do it. I promise you; I won't let anything else happen to you guys, you will be safe. Donghyun, you have your phone, and so do I. I still need to figure out how I will be paying, but that won't take much time. Right now, my dearest friend is in danger, and I am going to have to go to rescue him, with some of my friends, and I will be back before you know it. So right now, I want Donghyun to take care of Min and Mun, you guys heat up the sandwich that we have left in the fridge, and eat it after. Okay, today, the three of you can sleep in my room, or the hall, but I want you to sleep together. And I--"

 I was talking like I was speaking to myself as I didn't realise Donghyun came up to me and hugged me.

 "Donghyuck. We'll manage. Now go. You have a friend to save. And come back safe." I smiled as she teared up, and just after Mun and Min came too and hugged me.

I quickly dressed, as I opened the door to leave, 

"Will Hyung be, okay?" asked Min, now that he was sitting in a corner of the bed and shivering. I went to him smiling and put a blanket around him and lightly kissed him on the cheek "Take care, okay? I want you to take care of your brother and sister, and the same goes for you both too. I'll be back tomorrow. Bye, and goodnight." 

And I left them. I felt a tear roll down my cheek as I couldn't promise them that I'll be okay once I come back home, or I won't even come home, I really didn't know. But whatever happens, it happens from me saving the life of a best friend, so it really doesn't matter.

but at the same time, it does... they're my family...

Renjun was waiting for me downstairs, almost falling asleep, and I did what he did to me. I stroked his hair slightly as he woke up and looked at me. 

"You done?" I asked 

"I'm supposed to ask you that" he chuckled and said as I heard a small grumbling sound and I realised. I quickly went to my fridge, as Renjun had to skip dinner and so did I.
