14 - Farewell and a new beginning

guys sorry I've already warned u about cringe so... here goes it goes...

"Oh, come On we need this flight. Please." I muttered to myself.

"Hey look! I think this is it." Donghyun said. She too was helping me with the bookings, staring at her phone with her tongue a little out.

"Look! I got it..." she said as I peeked over her phone and saw she had found a flight that was going... "tomorrow....?" I said looking at the phone. "I-I nono, wait, this is the wrong one wait-"

"Donghyun. It's for your own good, how many times do I have to tell you? Now go on and book that flight." I said to her, Not scolding but in a very sibling manner.

"Haechan...I-I will miss you...a lot... promise me that you will not, at-all forget to visit us, once a month- no twice a month? Or every week-

yes, that would be great and get us the things we like and get yourself too-"

"Hey... I will... I promise, and I will come myself there, as many times as possible as I can, okay? I will miss you too..." I said now smiling at her as she took the phone, and started the bookings. Also satisfied.

The bookings were done. The day went... fine... mostly sad. As no one spoke about anything except the things they wanted from me, and what we would eat from time to time. It was dinner time, as we had simple rice and made some toast.

"Guys, the flight tomorrow is at 5:30 am in the morning. So, I have packed all our bags, taken all our stuff and everything is ready... We'll need to wake up by 3:30 am and leave. Everyone has a bath tonight before going to bed. alright?" said Donghyun, assuring everyone...

"yes noona." They spoke.

They went upstairs to their room and had a quick bath getting into their night clothes.

I gave Min and Mun a kiss on their foreheads as they went to bed. And wished Donghyun goodnight.

It was morning when my alarm went off, we went by one of the cars from our squad along with Taeyong driving us there as I told him the timings last night. We reached the airport and waited for the boarding. We heard the announcement of the plane as suddenly Donghyun held my hand. Just as she gave it a little squeeze.

"Haechan..." I just hugged her without saying anything. "I'm gonna miss you"

"I'll miss you too... bye now. You're getting late." And there she went... inside the plane, with my two siblings looking back at me from time to time.

I waved goodbye to them. I waved at them when they were sitting in the window seats and they loved them. I could see them smiling and tapping the window as if I were to hear them.

I giggled after seeing that, little tears forming at the realization that I won't be meeting them for over a month. I blew a flying kiss at them as they did the same.

"Goodbye" I whispered.

I turned back after the flight was out of sight.

I ran towards the car, finally not being able to handle the sight of the flight leaving. I sat in the car and Taeyong had come disguised into some hip clothes- not that he would be recognised by normal citizens but the police might actually be around. He sighed and we left towards our dorm without actually saying anything.

"Hey Donghyuck-ah, how are you?" asked Renjun after we entered the dorm and Taeyong plopped on the couch to remove his disguise and become normal again.
