15 - The truth behind his disappearence

I looked at Mark but he didn't seem very pleased with the idea. I know... he couldn't play video games, that would cause too much movement, but he could watch movies and play random games but only the games where there is very less movement involved!

"Everyone, you guys can hog up all the living room, the dreamies room, and Taeyong Hyung's room and Wayv's room. You can take the whole dorm, except me and Mark Hyung will go in ours to watch something. Alright?" I said to everyone and they agreed. Mark nudged me. "What are you saying? Don't you want to play games?"

I laughed "Hyung, don't be stupid. I know you can't play games, and I'm in charge of you. So, let's go now?"

He looked shocked by my reply "Hyuck well, thanks...!"

I took a hold of his waist as he got up, slowly walked him towards our room. My cheeks were heating up. If he wasn't injured, we would surely look like a couple.

I opened the doorknob and we both sighed looking at the messy room in front of us. I made him sit down on his bed, and I sat on mine

"Hyung, which movie do you want to watch?"

"What do You want to watch?"

"Hm... Venom?"

He laughed and said "Whichever you like."

I flashed a smile.

We were half way through the movie, while watching I sometimes clutched the blanket or Mark's hand whenever there was a scene which caused a sudden jump scare!

Mark could only giggle at my actions. He wasn't even a bit scared nor did he even flinch as if he was so used to it.

I woke up when I felt a loss of warmth around me that caused me to whine.

I rubbed my eyes and yawned. I looked around and saw Mark was getting up- "Hyung! Wait, Lemme help" I said as I quickly got up and picked him by the shoulders. "Where to?"

"Washroom please,"

After he came out of the washroom I asked "tell me I did not miss half the movie"

"Hm, a bit less than half, but yeah" I saw disappointment on his face

"Mark Hyung i- I'm sorry I got scared and I was even sleepy and-"

"No... it's okay- I mean yeah off- course you might be tired of all the traveling and it isn't easy to leave a family away to somewhere safe while they rely on you for money, right? When will you be visiting them again? Are you really sure your siblings are safe, there Hyuck?"

Mark spoke while I sat him on the bed, that had me thinking about where he was trying to get me with this conversation.

"Why would you ask whether they're safe or not? They're my aunt and uncle living a happy life in the city of Incheon, they have money, I spoke to them the night before."

I said as I walked over to my bed leaning on the headboard and crossing my legs- not really looking at Mark as I felt offended.

"Look, do you remember that when-" he cleared his throat "w-we got- uhm-... h-Hyuck, they are not safe-"

"Mark! They are my family, and I trust them! You, right now are being kind-of rude Don't u think?!-"

"Donghyuck! Listen to me..." he took a deep breath "last time when- if you remember- I lied to you, which I hardly do - when I broke the tiny mud house that you made near the lake and I told you it wasn't me-"

"How is this relevant- wait it was a you-n-never mind"

"Listen. I-I wasn't- -I lied to you...again... I lied to everyone over here after I returned... I wasn't Only kidnapped and threatened by the Seventeen squad because they just got the chance to capture me..." he said.
