When I cry, I look at the stars.
When anxiety takes over, I look at the stars.
When I'm grateful, I look at the stars.
After the storm, I look at the stars.
I have never found more comfort than looking up at the night sky after the worst moments in my life. Sometimes, being in silence, looking at the universe that surrounds us, makes us realize that no matter the tragedies we face, we are just tiny fragments that make up our endless universe. Why not just let go of the negative energy to the universe? Why not find hope in the beauty of the stars?
To me, I feel they hear me. To me, they listen. To me, I feel they soothe me and tell me things will be alright.
Tonight's night may hide them, with a hurricane invading their view. But they are there. Once you see them again, they'll look brighter than before and give you the energy you need most.
Sit down outside, breathe, and just look at the stars.
