Harry's POV
"Fuck." I said, hitting my phone against my leg.
"What's wrong Harry?" Megan, my assistant asked.
"My phone keeps freezing and turning off for the past hour. I keep trying to at least get Maggie's number off of it, but it's not letting me."
"Let me see?" She smiled, holding her hand out. I watched as she inspected my phone. Turning it off and back on, the same thing happening again.
"I can drop you off at the club and see what I can do about this?"
I shook my head, "No, I need you there to get me in and out."
"Jeff said I can't stay, Harry. That I have to pack for your flight in the morning."
"Did we not just finish that before coming here?"
"Yeah, but — then you are staying Megan. Please."
She nodded, handing me my phone back, "I should have been proactive and saved Maggie's number on my phone. I'm sorry. I didn't expect to forget my personal phone at home."
"It's okay. Not your fault." I looked at the window as we slowed to a stop a couple blocks before the club.
Olivia's car pulled up behind ours and I watched as she got out and made her way over to mine, getting in.
"Hi Harry, hi Megan." She half smiled at us, to which I just raised my hand at her.
"Megan when you go back to the hotel can you help pack my things too?" Olivia asks her, Megan frantically looking over at me.
"She's staying with me. She already packed my things and she works for me. Not you." I said, still looking out the window.
"Jeff said she had to go."
"Again, another person that works for me." It came out like a snarl and I could feel the fear radiating off of Megan.
"Fine." Olivia said, pursing her lips.
As we pulled up to the club, I turned to Megan, "Just give it two minutes after we get off before you do okay? I don't want to have to redo this because you are in the back of Miss Wilde's photos."
Megan bit her lip, trying not to chuckle and nodded quickly at me. I opened the door, stepping out and smiling at the paparazzi already there to take photos. I turned back holding out my hand for Olivia, placing the fakest loving smile on my face as she stepped out. She stood there buying time for the shots, fixing her dress, before we began our walk in, holding hands. The moment we were inside and the door was closed I let go of her hand, "I need a drink."
We spent the rest of the night in the VIP area, as much as I wanted to be nowhere near Olivia, too many people were watching us to not continue the act. At one point in the night Megan approached me about us leaving and before I could answer Olivia turned to me.
"Harry, wait, please. Can we talk? Just a couple minutes?" Her face was different than ever before, soft almost.
"Fine, ten minutes." I looked at Megan and nodded that she could leave for now.
"Harry, look, I'm sorry. I didn't make any of this easy on you. I wasn't exactly a fun person to be around, I just got emotions that I shouldn't have towards you."
"I'm aware, which is why I made it clear from the beginning."
She nodded, "I know. I just refused to listen."
I watched as she got up and walked over to the bottle of champagne chilling in our section, pouring two glasses. She brought them over sitting back down next to me, "So how about this, we toast to a truce, and to you and Maggie, may that relationship give you what I obviously couldn't."
