It's a new day,which will probably be just as bad as yesterday but who knows,I opened my curtains to see the sun,and it blinded me which did not help,
"Agh shit"I complained as I rubbed my eyes like it would help,
I reached out for the outfit I left out last night but of course it had fallen to the floor and would needed to be ironed again,I rolled my eyes and sighed,so I walked to pick the clothes up and took the walk of shame to iron them again.
After that I started the shower,and put it on cold because I have been trying 'self care' last week,which B/f/n literally forced me to do,I do not see how this is helping me at all,it feels like torture,I've being going to the gym everyday for a week and it is different compared to my normal 1 hour twice a week trips that I usually take to the gym but I feel better about myself,until I get home and order a shit ton of take out and watch tv on my couch,but nobody needs to know that.
After my amazing,ice cold shower I got into my freshly ironed clothes and went to make some breakfast,again some weetabix as B/f/n threw out my blueberry muffins for literally NO reason and read the newspaper,which contains the same boring stuff as yesterday but yet I still spend time reading it.
I checked the time and saw it was 9:13,
"Shit"I said out loud and made a run to the bathroom to brush my teeth,I hate working,why must I wake up from my peaceful slumber to type random stuff that I do not understand into a crappy,cheap computer in a confined office space?
I start pulling on my shoes as I hopped downstairs,nearly tripping up multiple times.
I grabbed my bag and car keys and dashed to my car,it was very warm today for what? Why can I not just have one day without sweating and having to have a fan turned on at all times?
Traffic was mayhem,I slammed my head against my steering wheel as I came across another red light with cars trailed back about 12 meters back,it was currently 9:25 and my boss would kill me if I was late AGAIN,so I decided to take a easy but illegal shortcut by driving through some old guys field,which was okay since the old guy is actually my friends dad so it's still illegal but not as frowned apon...,but anyway I popped out at a small country road and I was only a two minute drive away from the office so I should be at my office and in my chair with one minute to spare if I leg it to the entrance.
I park my car in the car park,obviously and made a run to the entrance,I ran across the road hoping to god that would not get hit,or for me to get hit,I don't really know what I was hoping for to be honest but I pulled my phone out my pocket to check the time andddddd Aha 9:28,perfect timing,and I will not get fire-
Wow,would you look at that,I tripped over a part of uneven pavement,you know what,maybe if I do not open my eyes,time would just stop and I could lay here forever.
"Oh my god,are you okay?!"
Yep never mind,I can only wish for something like that to happen,
"Yep just a wipe down of my suit and I'll be as good as new"I replied,eyes still shut,
I peeled open one eye and,
Oh my god,a random beautiful stranger was stood over me,staring down in concern,I immediately blushed in embarrassment
"T-thanks for your c-concern but honestly I-I'm fine"
Wow,great job Y/n,stuttering is just the way to make yourself seem like a non gay mess,
"You have a massive cut on your forehead,please let me wipe that so you do not get an infection,it is the least I can do after witnessing that nasty fall of yours"the shorter woman said to me
"Oh ummm no it's fine trust me"I said to the beautiful woman who was looking at my forehead with concern
"No way,not a chance,come on,let's get that cleaned up"she said grabbing my hand and pulling me towards my office building
Okay then,this is not how I expected my day to start but anyway,
She pushed open the glass door and walked into my place of work and headed straight to the public toilets,she walked around as if she knew the place like the back of her hand,does she work here?,if so how in the world have I never noticed her?,well probably the same way I never noticed that random bump on the pavement.
"Sit"she said sternly and pointed at the sink,so I sat next to the sink,on the countertop as this stranger ran a paper towel under cold water,
"My names Y/n"I said,deciding to make conversation
She looked up and smiled as she walked over to me hold the paper towel
"My names Jennifer,but I get called Jen mostly"she replied as she started to apply the paper towel to my cut,which I now realise is bleeding as I look at the mirror in front of me.
"There you go,all clean"she said
"Really?" I questioned "I didn't feel a thing"I said
"Yea that was because you were staring at me the whole time"she said smiling
"Oh shit...I'm so sorry"I said,blushing in embarrassment
"Oh no don't apologise,why would I complain about having someone as cute as you staring at me?"she said,while walking out the bathroom
I blushed,that was weird,why'd she just walk out?
In my confused haze,I realised that I should probably get to work,as I must be really behind schedule now...
Yep 9:40,10 minutes late,great,well I'm not really complaining I did get to talk to a beautiful woman
As I walk out,my department boss,Amy,appears,
"Wow Y/n,late as always"she says jokingly while dumping a pile of paper in my unready arms
"Ah,you know me"I say in reply
"Oh what happened to your head,Harry potter?"she asked curiously
"Had a small fall"I said in embarrassment,why did I not say I got into like a fight,protecting a old man from being robbed or something,now I sound like an idiot,
"Awww did Harry have a little fall?"Amy said pouting,in a baby voice
"Haha,very funny,that name is gonna stick now isn't it?"I ask
"You bet your ass it will,oh and don't worry,I will be informing the whole building of your little fall and new name"she said as she walked away
"Ugh AMY!"I yelled chasing after her,to try and reason with her.
Well that did not work,it's been the joke of the building,my name plate was changed on my door to        'HARRY POTTER' ,my lunch was put down under Harry potters name and when Sasha got me a coffee,the name on the cup was Harry,
I just love work .
As I typed away on my computer I saw to people walk in to my office
"Wow Denise,you can't knock now?"I cheekily say,without looking up from my computer,
"Well you will get the privilege of me knocking when you start showing up to work at the right time"she said
I rolled my eyes
"Anyway,I want to introduce you to someone"she said,making me look up
There stood Jen,awkwardly
"Jen this is chief officer of this department,Y/n,Y/n this is my sister Jen"she said
No wonder she knew the building so well,she was the CEO's sister,
"Oh hi...again"I said,standing up from the chair I had made my home for the past 3 hours
"Again?wow,so you've already repulsed my sister"Denise said,rolling her eyes
"Oh no,she has definitely not repulsed me"Jen said
Denise faked a gag
"Ew" she said
"Wow Denise,you have always been so kind"I said sarcastically with a straight face
Jen let out a laugh
I looked at her and smiled,she has a really pretty laugh
I wonder if I will have a chance to get to know her better?

I definitely did,actually we went on our first date a month later,and had our first kiss on our 3rd date in November,then had our first Christmas together,said I love you to each other for the first time on New Year's Day,had our first time together in February on Valentine's Day,moved in together in May and now I am going to propose tonight,on November 27th,I carefully placed the box containing the ring in my suit pocket and took a deep breath,
I wonder if she will say yes?
