PETER*
Me and Amelia were outside of a coffee shop not too far away from aunt may's house, making it easier to walk back when it was time too leave.
We sat out on a table, taking a sip out of our coffee's, and sharing bites out of our muffins. This was something that I wasn't going to forget. Sure, we've been on 'dates' before, but that was before we actually got to see eachother daily. I enjoy this, and I want this forever.
Too much?
"What?" Amelia asks, looking at me weirdly and smiling. I think I was daydreaming and staring at her? "Sorry." I reply, shaking my head and grabbing my coffee for another sip.
She really doesn't know what's going on in my head, and I'm grateful for that.
"No really, what's up?''
There's that little smirk on her face. She loves to see me get all awkward, she finds it hilarious. "Nothing, I-" I pause, breathing in. "You're just really beautiful to look at." My face starts to feel tingly, probably because I'm smiling too hard.
I love to complement her, but I never know when's the right time to do so. She smiles, with blush appearing on her face. "Why, thank you."
A moment of silence pasts, making us sit awkwardly. But thankfully, Amelia's phone started to ring.
It was Mr. Stark.
We look at each other for a moment, sharing a 'should we answer?' face. "Eh, probably not important." She says, putting her phone on silent and placing it on the table. "So tell me, how was your day so far?" She asks, bringing her attention to me.
I wish she would just answer the phone.
"It was okay.." I start, making her intrigued. Amelia gets closer, leaning in to listen. "I just, had this weird dream last night."
I look at Amelia, while she stares at me blankly. I don't want to scare or worry her, but it seemed like it was nothing. "It was . . . disturbing." My arms reach for my head, scratching the back of it. "It took place on top of a building, and we were hanging out together.-"
The phone rings again.
Amelia shakes her head, signaling her hand for me to keep talking. "And out of nowhere, there was this guy, he looked like he had a fishbowl on his head." I chuckle, ignoring the ringing in the background. "Anyways,-"
This time, the ringing was coming from my phone.
Why does he need us so bad? Can't I just be out with my girlfriend and not be interrupted for once? "Okay." I said, stopping my story. "This seems important." I say, reaching for the phone on the table. "It better be." Amelia added.
I click the green button, bringing the phone close to my ear. "Hello?"
There was a short pause before Mr. Stark's voice appeared. "What the hell is wrong with you guys? Not answering my calls, texts, e-mails?" He says out loud with frustration. "What have you guys been doing?" He asks, and I look at Amelia, who was currently staring in confusion. I forgot that I didn't have him on speaker.
"You know what, don't answer that." He says, as I can feel the disgust appearing on his face. "I wanted to call you about a serious manner." He says, and I put him on speaker so Amelia can listen. "Dinner."
I was confused.
"Dinner? Like eating together?'' I ask, furrowing my eyebrows together. "Yes, kid. That's what dinner is." Tony replies, as I hear him sighing from the other line.
"Is there a certain reason for this?'' I ask. He never hangs out with us, or even eats with us. So, if he wanted to be together, it had to mean something.
