STORM'S POV

It has been a hectic day! After the phone call from her brother and the conversation shhe had with Killian I knew my girl would need a distraction. We always knew this day was coming but we thought we would have a little more time.

My distraction for both my girl was to send them out running some bullshit errands. While they were doing this I pulled my phone out and called my cousin. He answered on the first ring, " You got a lot of balls and a shit load of explainin to do cuz."

I rolled my eyes, " I know I do Killian."

I hear him let out a sigh, " Why did you never tell me about her?"

I walk out of the kitchen door into the back yard to have this conversation in privacy incase the girls got back early. I sit on one of the lawn chairs, " Because it wasn't my secret to tell. Autumn her self begged me to help ensure Taya's safety."

Killian growls, " I could have kept her safe!!"

I growl back, " CALM THE FUCK DOWN! I know you could have kept her safe but at the time with everything that was going down Autumn couldn't trust you. So she turned to Sage and Sage turned to me."

Killian mutters, "You could have told me, cuz."

I sigh, " I had to keep her safe. Fuck cuz, I am still trying to keep her safe. There is so much shit Sage doesn't even know about Taya. None are my secrets to tell."

Killian huffs, " I know when you give your word you keep it but damn man. My daughter is now fully grown and I never even got to meet her or watch her grown up. I told Sage I wanna meet her and Sage said she would try to make it happen."

I smirk, " Yeah I was there when she spoke to you. Trust me, Mighty Mouse and I will find away to get her to town to meet you. Even if it means that I have to arrest her."

Killian hollers out, " Arrest? Why would you arrest her?"

I bark out laughing, "I have done it numerous times before cuz."

Killian asks, " Why?"

I try to calm down my laughing, " She may have Mccormick blood in her but the O'Duels blood is the one that runs the strongest. Taya is a handful and ten times worse than us when we were younger."

I can hear the smile when Killian speaks, " Good thing or bad thing?"

I lean back in the chair, " Mixture of both. Now I am gonna end this call and get a plan in motion. I will let you know when we are in that neck of the woods."

Killian mutters out a goodbye and we both hang up. I am still in the chair when I hear the sound of my girls pulling into the drive way. I would get up and help them but I am lost in my thoughts.

I wasn't joking when I said that I might have to arrest her to get her there. Taya is a hot-headed strong willed young woman. She also will put her foot down and keep it down if something went against her codes. Us taking her to a place she has never been to before and to meet people she doesn't know will spike her deadly interest and could issues.

I told Sage long ago we need to tell Taya the truth but Sage was determined to do everything Autumn's way and Autumn said it wasn't time. The fact that she told Taggert to share this information with Killian before even alerting Sage put a bad taste in my mouth. It also seemed fishy to me, but Sage never would go against Autumn for anyone.

I am still lost in my thoughts when I feel Sage sit down in my lap and wrap her arms around my neck. I open my eyes to take in her beautiful face. She gives me a heart melting smile, " What is going through that mind of yours?"

I kiss her forehead, " I know how to get Taya where we need, but she will most likely be pissed with me."

Sage looks me in the eyes, " Them all meeting needs to happen. Do what you need to do. Just please wait till after dinner."

I laugh, " Yes ma'am."

Sage kisses my cheek before heading back inside to help Taya make dinner. I stand up and make one more call. My deputy answers on the third ring, ' Maysville Sheriff Department, Deputy Mitchell speaking."

I clear my voice, "Mitchell, it is Storm."

Mitchell mutters, " Sheriff, I wasn't expecting to hear from you for a few more days. Everything okay?"

I look in the house and see Taya laughing at whatever Sage said. I smile, " Yeah everything is okay for now. I just need you to do something for me."

"What can I can do for you Sheriff?"

I sigh, " I need three warrants printed. I need one faxed for me for Taya O'Duels. Send it to Sage's home address."

"And who are are the other two for?"

"Killian O'Duels and Dorian O'Duels."

I hear Mitchell gasp, " Do I need different cells set up?"

"Nope just get the cells ready. Go ahead and bring in the last two. I will personally bring in Taya tonight around midnight."

"You go it Sheriff."

I hang up the call and make my way into the house. I would give Sage what she wanted and wait till after dinner to piss off Taya. Lord knows how she is gonna handle all of this so might as well give her a few more minutes of peace.
