PIPPY'S POV

FLASHBACK

7 YEARS AGO

We have been in this room now for about a week and still we are both handcuffed. The person in charge named Thorne comes in every morning and night. Taya always tries to fully block me from him. She has become my protector here.

Just this morning when the first guy came back in she blocked me from him when he made his way toward me. She had attacked him and managed to get her arms around his throat in a choke hold. He was almost out before two ugly goons barged into the room and pulled her off him. They threw her to the ground and started to kick her numerous times. They didn't stop until the knew she was out. They left her covered in blood.

Once they left with their semi-awake friend I moved closer to Taya. I attempted to clean the blood of her and put her in a position that would less strain her injuries.

Taya woke up after a few hours, jolting into a sitting position, and looking me over. She was gasping for air, " Did... they... touch.. you?"

I shook my head, " No you stopped him. You almost had him before his trashy friends came in and beat you."

She ran her eyes over me one more as if she was confirming what I said was true. She moved to sit closer to me, " They will try again, but I got you."

I scoff, " You can't stop them all."

She laughs evilly, "Oh just watch me. "

I was about to respond when Thorne came busting into the room for his usual taunting visit. He looked over at Taya and shook his head before looking at me with lust in his eyes. Taya saw his look and moved her injured body in front of mine. Thorne smiles at me, " I have a hunger that needs to be fed."

He moved in our direction and Taya shouted "NO!"

Thorne gave her an amusing smile, " No? You are telling me no?"

Taya seethes, "You will not fucking touch her. No one here will touch her."

Thorne is still smiling " Oh really? How you gonna stop them?"

Taya sits up straighter, " Take me instead!"

WHAT!!!!

She was offering up herself to protect me?!

Thorne nods, " Fine. BOYS!"

A few guys come into the room smiling at us. Thorne holds up a hand to stop them, " No one touches the blonde. Little Miss Unknown has offered up herself for EVERYONE!!"

I watch as they all smile wider. Thorne drops his hand, " Get her."

I throw my arms around Taya to keep her with me, " NO NO NO NOOOOO GET AWAY!!! LEAVE HER ALONE!"

Taya places one of her hands on my arm, " Pipz it is okay. I will be okay as long as your safe."

I start sobbing like a baby as tightened my arms around her. Taya managed to pull my arms off of her. Once she was free the goons descended upon her snatching her up and pulling her out of the room.

I yelled at Thorne, " YOU ARE A MONSTER!!"

He laughed, " That I am princess!"

He turned around and slammed the door before locking me in. I run to the door banging my fists on it and yelling. I kept hitting the door and screaming until I no longer had a voice.

I slumped against the door sobbing for the pain that Taya was going through to protect me. I sat there on the floor with my ear to the door to see if I could hear anything since everything had gone silent.

A few minutes passed before a heart stopping scream came through the door. My heart hurt for Taya. She offered up herself to protect me, to make sure no one touched me. I sat there by the door until I heard steps coming to the door.

I moved away from the door and back to where everyone saw me last. The goons from earlier opened the door dragging Taya behind them. Her clothes were torn apart, her hair was all over the place, but what concerned me the most was the trace of blood on her thighs.

When the goons left again I pulled Taya to me. I held her in my arms and sobbed. I knew what the blood on her thigh meant. She was untouched before now. She let those nasty fuckers touch her to save me.

I looked down at her now slightly battered and bloody face. I placed a kiss on her forehead, " I swear here and now that I will always be here for you. Your secrets are my secrets. My life is yours."
