LUCAS's POV

I hang up the phone placing it back on my desk as I look over at my Dad and the Mistress Fiona. They look at me with worry. I let out a sigh, " That was Lady Chaos. She the girl and is willing to trade."

Dad has a look of victory on his face, " Well I guess it was a good idea that the Mistress suggest we take her son. Will she be there personally to make the trade?"

I lean back in my chair, " No she won't. Her second will be escorted by the Reject Outlaws MC."

The Mistress hisses, " Why are those idiots getting involved?"

I arch an eyebrow, " Well it is their land and they are considered neutral. We personally have some dealings with them. They are honest and keep to their code."

She gives a slight nod and addresses my father, " Once we have the girl I will require sometime to evaluate her and train her in the way of the Clan."

Dad gives a nod, " I will grant you that request but make sure she knows her place. I will not allow her to tarnish my family's name when they are wed."

I roll my eyes at his comment.

When my father informed me about the accord he struck, I was very annoyed. I yelled at him for hours. I argued that we knew nothing of the bitch and she knew nothing of our ways. In the end my mother was the one to remind me that it is my duty and I was to not fight my father on the matter anymore.

She told me that it was job to forge this alliance at any cost so that we could further our power in our world.

I was not happy with having to force Lady Chaos's hand by taking the Goblin King, but she had far more resources than we did. Plus the inside source that the Mistress had was not responding to any messages or giving us any information.

I stood from my chair, " I'm going to check on the boy. Knowing Lady Chaos, she will murder us if something happens to him while he is in our care. I am honestly surprised she hasn't sent the Maidens of Mayhem after us yet."

Dad nods as he slouches back into his chair. The Mistress laughs, " Is the Heir really frightened of a female?"

Dad scoffs, " Need I remind you that your own community is dominated by females? You haven't fully dealt with the Lady have you?"

She rolls her shoulders, " My underlings usually deal with second, but no we have never truly met or had any workings. Honestly, this girl seems to be full of herself."

I scoff at that, " She is not one to mess with. Her has connections with more people than we could even fathom."

Fiona just waves her hand with no care as if she is dismissing me. I roll my eyes as I leave them in my office to go check on the boy. Ever since the arrival of the boy something about him and irked me. HE has remained silently and the way looked around the room had me on edge. It was like he was planning an operation of escape and taking account of everyone's placement.

Since he was the only child of Lady Chaos, I wouldn't doubt it. Who knows what he knows of his mother and what all she has taught him of our world. Or was he protected and sheltered from the dealings of our world?

I step in the room that we are holding the boy and see that he is playing silently with blocks at a table. He turns his head and stares at me as if he is looking for a weakness. I move over to the table and squat down so I am close to his level, " So you are the Goblin King?"

He tilts his head and shocks me by responding, " Sooo, you are the Heir?"

Well well he can talk and he knows who I am? Interesting.

I smirk, " Indeed I am. What else do you know?"

He turns his attention back to his blocks, " I know lots of things. I also know not to speak with strangers. Which you are a stranger."

The cheeky little bastard>

I let out a laugh, " You know who I am and I know you so we aren't really strangers."

He sets his blocks down again and turns to fully face me, " Just cause you know my title doesn't mean you know me. Do you know what happens when some one upsets my mommy?"

I arch an eyebrow, " What happens?"

An evil smile spread across his face, " She unleashes Chaos. I hopes you are okay with that?"

I shrug my shoulders, " Well I guess it is a good thing I have spoken with your mommy already. You are gonna be going home in a few hours."

He ignores me and goes back to his blocks. I shake my head and go to head out of the room. I am about to close the door when I faintly hear him say, " Chaos will reign."

I shake my head while closing the door all the way. My mind runs through everything that has happened in the pass few minutes. I look down at my watch and see that we have about 5 hours before we have to meet for the exchange. Which means I have time to brief my men on the exchange, grab something to eat, and maybe if I am a lucky a nap.

Lord let the exchange go smoothly and don't let Lady Chaos kill us all.
