chapter 8

A day without Taeyong.

Taeil had thought that he will be taking care of Haru alone now, and it's okay because Taeil is perfectly healthy now. To his surprise, after sending Taeyong off – Doyoung drove Taeil back to his apartment and he carried Haru while walking up in front of Taeil, as if assisting him home.

Taeil thought that Doyoung will leave after putting Haru on her bed but Doyoung suddenly take a shower. It was weird for Taeil because he always thought that Doyoung only want to shower in Taeil's apartment only when Taeyong asked him so. Taeil clears his thought as he thinks that maybe Doyoung is tired and he feels sticky. He will leave after taking a bit of rest. That is what Taeil thought.

To his surprise, again, Doyoung lay comforter on the floor as he lay his body there. He is using Haru's plushie as his pillow. Doyoung wraps his arm around his body like a blanket. Taeil was shocked when he saw Doyoung, he glanced at the digital clock in the corner of the room. It was past midnight.

Taeil comes to move Haru to his room but he drops it and walks back to his room to get an extra pillow and blanket for Doyoung. It was tiring for Doyoung – driving Taeyong all the way to Incheon and driving Taeil back to his apartment. Taeil suddenly feels bad.

Noticing that Taeil is kneeling on the floor by his side, Doyoung opens his eyes almost immediately and his hand automatically reaches out to hold on to Taeil. His breathing rhythm fasten, showing that he was shocked awake. He was worried because Taeil never voluntarily want to be close to Doyoung after he gave birth.

Taeil was shocked by the sudden touch. Doyoung's bloated eyes and his just awakened face don't look lacking in coolness. He is always handsome, Taeil just can't understand how Doyoung does that.

"Why are you here?"

Doyoung drop his hands, he sighed deeply after making sure that Taeil is fine – he lay his body back down on the floor. Without realizing it, Taeil was actually holding his breath in, Doyoung natural scent is making him dizzy. He smells so nice.

Then, it registers to him that he sounds very rude to Doyoung.

"Pillow for you," Taeil said, trying to soften his voice but he doesn't like how much he is weak when he is close to Doyoung. He stands on his feet and he was about to leave the room.

"Thank you," Doyoung said not even glancing at Taeil.

Just like that, Doyoung started to kind of living with Taeil. Doyoung has his own bed in Haru's room now, Taeil bought it for him (using Doyoung's card of course). Doyoung had his own row of clothes in Haru's wardrobe.

Doyoung will have his assistant pick up his clothes in Taeil's apartment but one time, he was late and Taeil washed the clothes for Doyoung. Taeil told Doyoung's assistant that he can stop coming to get Doyoung's clothes. Without Doyoung knowledge, Taeil was doing his laundry.

But then it doesn't take a long time until Doyoung noticed that he smells like Taeil – since then Doyoung make sure to cook for breakfast and dinner. He even washes all their clothes to pay back what Taeil had done for him. He plans to only pay back Taeil's kindness, but then he keeps doing it because he didn't want Taeil to tire himself.

Doyoung knows how tiring it is to take care of Haru all day. On top of that Taeil never skipped work. Haru was very calm during the day but she was so cranky at night – there is a time that Taeil couldn't sleep all night to take care of Haru. It was hard, Doyoung is well aware of that.

The reason why Doyoung lives with Taeil. He will take care of Haru at night while Taeil takes his sweet sleep so he doesn't feel tired to take care of Haru the next day. Taeil doesn't talk much but his expression changes a lot when he is tired. He is a bit cranky when he is tired.
