Taeil tried to hold in his smile while replying to Doyoung text because he can feel Wendy's eyes judging his every move. Haru was sitting calmly on Taeil's laps while playing with the yellow plastic spoon – Doyoung prepared for her.

Wendy let out a loud grunt and hit the table so loudly to get Taeil attention. As a good friend to Taeil, she wanted Taeil to be more heedful and more careful with his own feeling. With every passing day, Wendy can see that Taeil love and adoration for Doyoung keep getting deeper. And deeper.

She won't blame Taeil alone, because clearly, Doyoung is the best husband ever – even for Taeil, his second husband. Taeil said Doyoung prepared a lunch box for him every day so Taeil won't eat out. Taeil said, Doyoung said he had a weak stomach so he need to be more careful with the food he put inside his mouth.

And Wendy can see, how softly and carefully Doyoung is when he was talking to Taeil and Haru. It won't be easy for Taeil.

It doesn't happen every day but sometimes, most of the time actually – when Taeil was busy, Doyoung will come and pick Haru up. All of their staff started talking behind their back because... it looks like Doyoung and Taeil are really married, the couple wasn't very careful with the way they act while everyone is watching them.

Taeyong never skipped updating his hours-long face time with Doyoung on his Instagram story every other week. People started blaming Taeil, saying that he was stabbing Taeyong behind – his so-called best friend's back.

Taeil maybe doesn't care about it but Wendy cares. She cares about what other say about Taeil and Wendy care about Taeil so much to ignore the problem like what Taeil had been doing. If something bad happens between the couple, Taeil will suffer more... but why Taeil keeps getting deeper into the mess he did try to get away from at first??

Wendy doesn't hate Doyoung. She is very thankful for everything the man had done to help their company and without Doyoung's help, Wendy doubts they can go this far. But still... Doyoung is very careless of Taeil feelings. The man doesn't think throughout their future together... he can't keep hiding Taeil like this...

"Doyoung will pick up Haru. I can go to our warehouse with you," Taeil said with a big smile on his face.

Happiness really looks so good on his face but it is making Wendy sad. She loves Taeil so much and she knows this marriage won't end well. At least for Taeil. Wendy is tired of reminding Taeil about it.

"Okay," Wendy said. Tired, angry, and frustrated.

Taeil can sense the displeased tone, he takes a deep breath as he pretended that he didn't see or hear anything. Wendy is right, Taeil knows this is wrong but it feels so good. Taeil never felt this happy since forever – why won't Wendy let Taeil be happy? Why won't Wendy be happy for Taeil happiness?

Taeil knows. Taeil is well aware of this happiness won't last long. Taeil just trying to enjoy the moment. The feeling of having his own family... feels so good. Wendy won't and will never understand.

They ended up eating in silence. Wendy clearly looks mad and Taeil doesn't care.

And just like that Wendy didn't even look at Taeil, not even opening her lips to talk about their visit to their warehouse. All she can do is gesture the document and hope that Taeil will understand her. Taeil did. No problem. Wendy can shut her mouth all she wants.

A day. A full week. A month later – Wendy still didn't want to talk to Taeil at all. Their staff started noticing it and worried that the business will have a problem because the two best friends is having a rough patch.

"What is it?" Taeil asked in contained anger. Wendy is acting so childish for things that shouldn't even bother her.

"What?" Wendy asked lazily.
