Pair of pretty eyes watching the drizzling rain, the pitter-patter drip-drop sound of the rain making the owner of the pretty eyes breathe out heavily, wishing the rain can sweep away the weight that had been on his chest for years and keep on getting heavier as the time passes.

It was Haru's 4th birthday - he should be happy that Haru was loved by Doyoung's family, she was being accepted into the family. She wouldn't live the life that Taeil had been through. The image of Haru's sparkly eyes standing in front of everyone while holding a long knife to cut her cake started replaying in Taeil's head.

President Kim looks so excited holding Haru up in the air, proudly accepting Haru into the family. The fact that Taeil is invited to the party is a huge step since Haru's last birthday his appearance at Kim's mansion create a huge commotion.

Taeil feels bad that he ruined Haru's birthday. He had a huge fight with Doyoung when he asked Taeil to attend Haru's 4th birthday when he should know how terrible his family was treating Taeil the year before.

As soon as President Kim know about Haru's existence, Haru's surname was changed in an instant. Kim Haru. It was supposed to be like that if Taeil was in a real marriage with Doyoung. So many times, every second of Taeil's life he regretted not fighting to get a divorce. Who can help Taeil now that he is in this fucked up situation?

He can't ask for divorce now. He needs to fight for Haru. He wouldn't let anyone take Haru away from him, not Doyoung, not Doyoung's father. He will fight for Haru.

Taeil wipes the tears wetting his cheek, he can't afford to be weak. He needs to fight for Haru.

But how? Haru is used to having a big family with her. She fits so much in Doyoung's circle. She fits this kind of life, she fits being filthy rich. Taeil is not poor, his business had been doing great. But sometimes, they face payment problems and tax evasion because of irresponsible staff. And sometimes even Taeil and Wendy weren't careful enough while making a contract.

Taeil's minds travel back to when President Kim caught their secret for the first time. He didn't have a harsh reaction since he was doing the same thing, he was proud of Jeno. The child he had with his second wife. What Doyoung did wasn't a problem for him.

He introduces Haru to his small family only because Doyoung requested that he plan to keep Haru's existence private. Thank god President Kim listened to Doyoung. Taeil doesn't know how will he face Taeyong and his parents when the truth was revealed. Taeil should think more about this before!

Doyoung's mom and her sister went to see Taeil at his office and make sure to tell everyone that Taeil is a slut and whore, a disgusting human being for stabbing his own best friend's back. Seems like everyone foresaw Doyoung's action - no one expected it to be Taeil though.

They really can't do anything about it since they know, everyone knows how much love Taeyong had for Taeil. Taeyong's parents also are significant figures in the country - there is literally nothing much they can do other than make Taeil feel bad about himself.

Taeil can't even use legal help to get Haru, the country was literally controlled by Taeyong's father and Doyoung's parents. Taeil is standing at a dead end and no one else to blame other than Taeil, himself.

"Can't sleep?"

Taeil raised up to look at the young man putting an expensive cup with hot chocolate milk on the small table in front of him. Taeil gives a small smile as he takes the cup and holds it with his palm, the warmness from the cup makes Taeil a bit hopeful for his future.

"It's cold," The young man added again.

Taeil didn't answer, his eyes followed the raindrop.

"Don't worry about Haru,"
