3RD POV
Lilith was busy cooking while Harley was sitting on a stool with a glass of milk in his hands watching his big sister cook in their neighbor's house.
Yes, neighbors and not in their own house's kitchen but Harley was used to it since both the Gilberts and Louise families had been close. Both families were welcome in each other's house and that just made it easier for the Gilberts after the tragic accident to cope. Elena wasn't like the canon, she didn't isolate or blame herself since she didn't actually attend the party. The three of them were on their way home after buying snacks and food for their family night while Jeremy, Jenna, and Louise's siblings prepared their activities. Elena found comfort in Lilith seeing her as an older sister that she could lean on and Lilith accepted her with open arms, as well as Jeremy. The boy didn't turn to drugs as his way of coping with the loss, instead, he would find himself spending his time with Lilith and Harley in their home just talking, or sometimes all of them would sketch each other in funny styles then laugh at it.
Placing the food on five different plates, she places one in front of her little brother before facing the kitchen counter where the coffee maker is. Harley happily munch on her English breakfast, swinging his short legs as he listens to his sister humming and would occasionally hum the tune too.
Both siblings hear footsteps running down the stairs, "Toast, I can make toast." they both hear Jenna says as she enters the room. Lilith chuckled at her making her look up, "Goodmorning, Aunty Jenna," Harley greeted as he smiled at her. "Goodmorning to you too, young man," Jenna greeted back as she kissed the boy on top of his head. When Jenna noticed that there was food already made, her smile widen. "You're a lifesaver, Lili! You know I love you right?"
Lilith held her heart dramatically, "Well, I'm your pseudo-wife. I do my best to please you." she laughs when Jenna gave her a peck on the cheeks before sitting beside Harley. Lilith handed her a mug of coffee, "I packed your lunch, I reschedule your presentation to nine-thirty A.M so you won't be late." Lilith informed while Jenna took a bite and moaned. "God, I would've marry you this intance," she commented before eating once again, Harley only watched in amusement between the two women's interaction.
A few moments later Elena comes downstairs, "Goodmorning Lena," Harley happily greeted getting a kiss on top of his head. "Good morning, sunshine." Elena responded as she quickly hugs Jenna and then approached Lilith with a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Goodmorning to you too, beautiful ladies," Elena greeted before sitting beside Jenna and started eating. Lilith prepared another two mugs of coffee knowing any minute Jeremy would join them, handing one to Elena who gratefully accepted it.
"Goodmorning Family," a loud voice scaring the three who sat on the stools, Jeremy approached them and kissed Harley, Jenna, and Elena on top of their heads before hugging Lilith with a kiss on the cheeks then sitting down beside Elena and started eating too.
This is how their breakfast usually went, but now it had two less people laughing and eating. It was warm and nice, especially for Lilith, knowing that she actually made changes to the story. At first, she thought that the voice had lied to her since she couldn't prevent Miranda and Grayson from dying, but she guessed that it was their death that kick starts the plot in the first place.
After finishing eating the Gilbert siblings insisted to do the dishes, all of them casually talking and it was a fine day too. "All right, now here's your lunch money. You two text me if you would be out late or just tell Lili if your going out with your friends, alright?" Jenna said as the two teenagers nods their heads and kiss Jenna goodbye. "Goodluck on your presentation, dear," Lilith teasingly exclaimed as she waved goodbye to her dear friend.
