Will groaned when he heard the dinging of his alarm. Then he remembered, today was the day of the surgery. He looked at the time and realized he slept in; letting the alarm ding for 5 more minutes. He started to panic and get dressed.

He stepped onto the cool kitchen tiles and turned his focus at the counter to see his mom, standing there with a worried expression. "Hunny, are you sure about this?" She looked at him. "Y-yeah. I'm sure." He said sternly, wanting this to be over. Joyce sighed and picked at her loud keys, finally finding the one for the car. "Lets go." She sighed again, stepping toward the door.

They calmly walked into the hospital and went to talk to the front desk. The hospital smelled of chemicals and mint candies. But it felt so familier. Will had been to the hospital a bunch of times, he was a fragile boy.

Wills vision became full of memories; some good, some bad. He fell out of his trance he heard the petite nurse speak. "William Byers, you can follow me into the surgical room." She spoke. He followed her minty scent and started to get nervous. She lead him to a room with a big door. She opened it and told him to get in a surgical gown. stepped into a closet to change and stepped out, everything seeming to familier.

"Hello Will." The doctor said in a deep voice.
"H-hi." He stuttered. "Hanahaki?" He looked up from his glasses. Will swallowed the tight knot in his throat and nodded. "I'm so sorry, sir." He looked sad for the kid but Will furrowed his eye brows and looked away.

The doctor picked up a syringe, and was about to inject it into Will before hearing someone slam the door open. "Stop the surgery." Mike glared, eleven smirking behind him, a bloody nose smeared across her face. "Excuse me?" The doctors eyes widened. "Just- get out. I need to talk to him." Will looked confused and sat up, "Mike?" He spoke.
