Mikes shoes tapped softly against the warm concrete as he thought.

Why are me and Will different? What happened..

He questioned himself, his head beginning to hurt. "Ugh!" He groaned, pulling his hair tightly before hearing a voice. "Mike?" El popped into view, and mike smiled. "El!" He went up to his girlfriend and gave her a big hug. Exactly how Will had.

"No, mike." El pushed him off her shorter figure. Mike stood there in confusion. "Uhm, El? What's wrong?" He questioned. "Max was right, boys are stupid." She mumbled. "What were you doing? You said you'd be right back." Mike slapped his forehead. "Babe, me and Will just fell asleep." He looked at her with big eyes. He stepped closer, and looked into Els eyes. "Do you like him?" She whispered. Mikes eyes widened. "Like him?" He whispered back. "No, ew! I'm not gay, El." He said softly grabbing her waist. "What's gay..?" She looked at him with her beautiful, curious brown eyes.

Mike sighed.

"It's when a boy likes a boy or a girl likes a girl. It's not normal." Mike stepped back. "Oh," she looked down and furrowed her eye brows.
"Yea-" he got cut off by the sound of silence, too silent. He looked around and found Wills teary gaze meet his. Mike found his chest expanding into a breath. "Will-" will blinked, and suddenly his small face was covered in tears. He ran back, dropping the black sweatshirt in his grip. "Will!" Mike yelled. He looked back at El, who had looked sad.

Her shoulder brushed against Mikes as she mumbled, "mouth breather." With a stern look on her face. Mike stood there in utter disbelief, because in one minute, he felt his whole world shatter into pieces.

Heavy rain poured down onto Wills shoulders as he crept into the small, reconstructed building known as castle Byers. He sobbed, and crawled onto the mattress. He snuggled into the pillow and wiped his eyes full of warm tears. He heard a knock on the new and improved lockable door. "don't come in." He looked down. "Will." Eleven sounded. "E-el, don't come in please-" he begged, but the door flew open, the dark sky surrounding in the background. She closed the door and sat by Will.

"What happened?"

Will contemplated telling her the truth, but it soon would be leaked itself. He coughed a flower and watched as one bloomed on his skin. Which ment Mike didn't like him. Will looked at el while setting the flower down. "I have a disease," he explained. "A-and I like Mike.." he looked down, disgusted with himself. "You like mike?" She remembered what Mike had said about it all, and then she asked, "Your gay?" Will looked down. "Yup, and I'm positive Mike hates me.." he sniffled. El wrapped a loving arm around the smaller boy, not wanting him to feel different. "Can I be honest, Will?" She whispered. Will nodded. "I'm a damn super hero. I don't have time for stupid boys." She giggled along with will. "I-I don't want you to break up with mike because of me, El." He suddenly became serious, and so did El. "I was gonna dump his ass anyways." She smirked.

Will and el soon fell asleep, comforting one another. They decided they would hide out there for some time, until El was ready to brake up with mike.

When mike stepped into the slightly cool house, he was greeted with his mother and a cold look. "Michael Wheeler." She put her hands on her hips. "Mom." He looked up at her. "I have a question." He asked. His mom raised her eye brows and blinked slowly. "What is love?" He whispered, tears threatening at the scene.
