Karen seemed surprised at first, then smiled at her son. "Hunny," she stepped toward him, voice full of comfort. Mikes eyes began to water, as his mother pulled him into a hug. They hadn't hugged in a while.

"Let's sit down." She led him toward the dining room table.

They sat and down and Karen spoke. "Mike, love is when you have deep affection for someone." Mike listened closely. "For me, love is when you feel a spark. every time you see, touch, or spend time with this.." she winked- "special person, you should feel something inside you, electricity of some sort." She smiled and took Mike hand.
"You will find that person, son."

Mike knew. Him and el never shared that spark. He'd never felt like that around El, but around someone else. Will.

He couldn't deny it any longer, he liked Will. He felt a sting to his eyes and ran to his room. He couldn't feel this, no. It was wrong for him to like another boy. That's what his dad said. But what if his dad was wrong? What if he could like Will without it being an issue? No. These were the 80s' we were talking about, it's not safe to be a queer. He started to sulk in his bed and cry softly. "What's wrong with me..?" He whispered.

He woke up to someone calling his name. "Will!" The familier voice called. He looked out of the cut pine wood window to see Mike. He stepped out of the door, careful not to reveal Eleven.

Mike ran up to Will and hugged him. Will immediately pushed him off and felt as anger built up in him. "So, let me get this straight," he continues rambling on until Mike can't contain it any longer. He grabbed Wills face and pressed a kiss onto his lips. It was short and sweet, but they both knew it meant more than that.

As Mike pulled away, he felt something. A spark. He smiled and Will stayed frozen, unable to decipher what just happened. Until he blinked and looked up at Mike. They looked at each other, one inches away from one another. And as if in sync, they pulled each other together again. Will grabbing onto the collar of Mikes shirt, his fingers intertwining with pieces of mikes long hair. Mike pulled his waist slightly and smiled as they kissed. They finally crumbled apart once they heard clapping. "EEEE" eleven squealed.

Mike widened his eyes and let go of Wills waist. "El, I- he- this isn't- this didn't mean anything." Will furrowed his eye brows as Mike ran toward El and kissed her. "Mike! What the hell!" She yelled. Will had just been awkwardly standing there, feeling warm tears sting in his eyes. "Babe." He laughed nervously. Will ran inside, straight to his room. He finally let the tears erupt and watched a flower bloom from his skin. He coughed and coughed until finally, he found no other option.

He would get it removed.
