"You're fucking crazy!" I whisper, pulling Greyson into my bedroom while Delilah grabs Leo's ear, pulling him along with us. He follows after her like an obedient dog. Everyone was asleep other than the four of us.
"Rosie, if you wanted me in the bedroom you could have just asked." He says, a teasing smile on his face as I push him down to the bed. Crossing my arms over my chest while I stand in front of him. Leo chuckles at Greyson's stupid joke, thinking it's the funniest thing ever.
Men find the dumbest things so funny. Delilah smacks the back of his head before making him sit on the bed next to Greyson. I turn around and grab the large gym bag from the floor that Leo had dropped off when they had gotten home.
"Why do you two have these in your bag?" I ask them, pulling out the two paintball guns. Delilah and I knew the minute we heard them walk through the front door laughing like a pack of hyenas, they did something very stupid.
We had watched as they went upstairs to check on Roman. Leo had a gym bag hanging on his shoulder when he went up but when he came down he didn't have it any more. Of course, we wanted to be nosey and make up a lie that we had to use the bathroom.
I remember Leo saying something that sounded like "I'm studying to become a doctor and I still don't know why girls need to go in groups to the bathroom." River tried explaining why we do it but she couldn't find the right words.
"We needed to blow off some steam?" Greyson says, the words coming out in more of a question. He looks over at Leo, silently asking if that's a good lie. They give themselves away faster than a cheetah can run.
"How stupid do you both think we are?" Delilah asks them, rolling her eyes as her London accent comes out stronger. Leo suddenly reaches into his back jean pocket, pulling out a pack of gum.
He opens it but before he can pull one out, Delilah grabs it from his hand. Leo gets up and tries to get it back, only to have his hand smacked away. "You aren't allowed to chew gum, asshole." She says, watching as he sits back down.
I stick my hand out to her, silently asking for a piece of gum. Delilah places one in my hand as she unwraps another one and puts it in her mouth. Leo glares at her with his arms crossed over his chest. Greyson just sits there amused by what had just happened.
"What did you two do?" I ask him, the amusement on his face dropping immediately. Greyson can usually keep secrets easily. I've seen him do it many times whether it was about not doing an assignment, all the way to saying he was sick and would miss practice, when really he was just hungover.
This wasn't the time though, Greyson was having a struggle lying right now. He was struggling to lie to me.
Leo sighs as he runs a hand over his face, nodding to Greyson to just say it. "We went to the High Sky Devils house and might have shot one of them in the balls." He says, fidgeting with his hands like a kid that was being put in timeout.
"Was he at least crying when you left?" I ask, I didn't have to ask who they hit with the paintballs. It was pretty clear. The one who hurt Roman, I just want to know if they got the revenge they need.
They nod then start to explain what had happened. Not leaving a single detail out.

"Can I tell you something about my brother?" Delilah suddenly says, dabbing a towel against her soft tan skin. She was dressed in a pair of beige shorts and a short sleeved white t-shirt with a teddy bear on it.
I glance over at her through the mirror, tying my hair up into a loose ponytail. Dressed in a soft yellow long sleeved shirt along with a pair of yellow sweatpants. I was a little taken back by the sudden question. "Yeah," I say, nodding my head.
"Greyson and I have never seen an ideal relationship between two people in love. We grew up in a house with toxic and sometimes abusive parents. Not physically but emotionally." Delilah says, pausing to take a deep breath.
"Our parents didn't love each other, not like they thought they did. Their relationship worked better when it was from a far distance, not together. God, never together. We would tell everyone that we love them deeply and we do, just not together."
"We've never seen a type of love that looked like the universe stopped for them. Yes, we have read books about love but we have never seen it. We've seen the toxic kind, the bad kind but never the beautiful and good kind." She tells me, her voice cracking a couple of times.
"I've never seen my brother look at anyone like he does you. Infatuated. Every twin wishes to see that look on their other half. Love. Greyson has always put me first and never himself. He has always gotten the short end of the stick. I don't want that for him."
"I want him to be happy and you make him so very happy. Whether it's just hearing his nickname from your mouth or seeing you enter a room. He lights up like the damn sun because of you. I never want him to lose that."
"You like him a lot. From the short time I have known you, I have seen you be a shell inside yourself. But you open up whenever Greyson is there, you feel a comfort with him. I want you two to work out and be happy." Delilah smiles softly at me, talking my hands into hers.
"I will be not only Greyson's but your biggest cheerleader from the sidelines. Jumping and cheering for you two to make it to that finish line. All I wish is to at least get a dedication at the wedding." She laughs, tears filling her eyes slowly.
