Chapter 17 |Cuddling accident|

I get comfortable on the couch, watching Roman scroll through the shows on Netflix. Nora and Rose talk in the kitchen gathering food while the guys and I sit on the couch discussing what to watch.

I see Noah look at his watch for the third time in 4 minutes. "Dude, stop sulking. Pretty sure River will be here soon." I tell him, giving his chest a smack while I lift the beer in my other hand up to my mouth.

As I take a swig from the bottle, the front door opens revealing River. Raising my eyebrows at him, Noah rolls his eyes before following her upstairs, like a sad little puppy.

I feel the seat dip next to me, turning my head I see Rose sit down with a bowl of ice cream. This girl can eat cold ass ice cream in the middle of winter and not feel cold at all. Switching my beer bottle to my other hand, I lift it to wrap around Rose's shoulders and pull her towards me.

Looking up, I see that Roman picked out 'Jane the virgin' to watch. I swear he has watched this show more times than he can count. It's been a few weeks since his injury and he is still getting used to having a cast on.

Clicking on episode one, the Netflix intro appears on the TV. I zone out during the first couple of minutes. Today started off as a good day until I got a call from dad. To summarize it, I have to attend Christmas this year or else he will cut me off from my trust fund.

I made up an excuse that I was horribly sick last year and couldn't attend. Delilah gave me a whole speech about how I left her to deal with the sharks. The longest record mom and dad went without arguing was 10 minutes. She said they started fighting 5 minutes after they got there.

"You okay?" A soft whisper asks me, I break out of my thoughts to see Rose looking at me with curiosity swirling in her beautiful eyes. Giving her a nod, my eyes move from hers down to her lips.

Is it bad that I want to kiss her over and over again?

"You look pretty today, Rosie." I compliment, taking my hand off the back of the couch and lifting it to tuck a piece of hair behind her ear. A small smirk forms on my lips as a deep shade of red spreads across her cheeks.

She was dressed in black leggings with a loose Boston Bruins jersey. I wish it was my jersey, with my name on it and my number. What can I say, I'm a jealous little shit. "Stop looking at me, you hormonal boy." Rose says, pinching my stomach.

"Rosie, you're getting stronger." I say, fake wincing as sarcasm leaks through my voice. Rolling her gorgeous little eyes at me, she turns her attention back to the TV. I do the same, only to hear a moan come from upstairs. Fucking hell.

"Don't tell me they're fucking!" Roman says, dramatically. He takes his casted leg off the pillow and tries to get up only to be pulled back down by Leo and me. Is he fully capable of walking without his crutches? No, not really.

"Let them be, let River celebrate her performance." Leo tells us, turning the sound on the tv up. The moans and groans only get louder and finally after another almost 30 minutes, all the noise stops.

"NEXT TIME KEEP IT DOWN YOU HORN DOGS, WE ARE TRYING TO WATCH JANE THE VIRGIN" Leo suddenly shouts, in response we hear a loud 'oh my god' that must have come from River along with laughing that most likely came from Noah.

I wake up to hair in my face and a body pressed against mine. The smell of strawberries and violets hitting me all at once. Rose Ava-Marie was curled up against my chest, her legs tangled with mine with her arms wrapped around my torso and her head laying in the crook of my neck.

I wanted to stay like this forever, cuddling with my girl. The cute moment ended quickly as a loud blaring sound, like an alarm going off. Rose mumbles something as she tries to cover her ears.

I hold her closer, covering her ears from the noise. Letting out a loud exhale, I open my eyes and look up to see Roman blaring an alarm he found on YouTube right above Rose and I.

"Leave us the fuck alone," I grumble, grabbing his phone to turn to off before smacking it back to his chest. Grabbing the blanket covering Rose and I's body, I pull it over us to shield us away from them.

"Okay, grump." Roman mutters, acting offended but he knows I'm not a morning person.

Rose cuddles into me even more than she already has. I loved having her body close to mine. My hand rests on her thigh while my other moves to her beautiful silky black hair out of her face.

"I'm tired," She mumbles, slapping my hand away. I chuckle, she's so fucking cute when sleepy.

"I'm going to take you up to my room to sleep." I tell her, waiting for her to give me permission before I pull the blanket off of us. Taking a sleeping Rose into my arms, I start to make my way upstairs.

Roman sends me a cheeky smile while stuffing a piece of toast with butter on it into his mouth. I shoot him a quick middle finger kiss before finally turning and walking up the stairs.

Opening my bedroom door, I see Willow waking up in her cage from the noise. I set Rose down on my bed, making sure she gets comfortable before feeding Willow and giving her some pets.

"Greyson," Rose murmurs sleepily, opening her arms for me while squinting her eyes from the light. Closing the cage, I stand up and walk towards my bed before laying down into her arms.

"Go back to sleep, Rosie. It's still early." I say, placing a small kiss on her forehead.

"Cuddle me," She demands, turning around so that she can be the little spin and me the big one. So fucking cute, if I were to wake up like this everyday, I would be a lot less grumpy in the morning.
